February 8, 200718 yr I saw that, too, and am also glad to see the best theme being the best selling ;-) An increase of 29+ % for City - hmm... now, what could be the reason...........

And I think that 2007 will make the increase better, or the same level, with all the nice sets we have... Just hope that it will motivate TLC to give its customers some decent lines for the next years
February 8, 200718 yr well city is after all constantly available in massive numbers. no wonder that it sells pretty well. Lego technic... well ... at some point there was hardly anything left but those technic sets... :-/ Actually, these reports made by Lego are deceiving, given the way they deal with toy shops...
February 8, 200718 yr Interesting to see Technic doing so well. Seems to do much better in Europe than here in the US. At Christmas, about the only thing left on shelves here were the Technic sets...
February 8, 200718 yr I wonder how Creator is doing in all this. To me, Creator has been the diamond in the Lego lineup. City 2007 looks to be the best in a decade, but the 2006 sets were not that great. If the line starts from a low value, it can show great growth without being very significant. I am truly puzzled about the massive technic sets being #5 and #7 in all toys! All toys? That's crazy. Did they not mean all Lego products? Even that is surprising. It woudl be very intersting to know what % of total Lego sales were from Star Wars, vs Bionicle, vs City etc etc.

The only restriction is, that they are talking about Central Europe. Like dunamis supposed, it may be completely different in other regions. gylman said: It woudl be very intersting to know what % of total Lego sales were from Star Wars, vs Bionicle, vs City etc etc. I agree, but there
February 9, 200718 yr That's awesome news! City is finally leaping back, and that means that we will almost certainly seen CITY 2008 sets! *sweet* Thanks for the news, Holodoc. ;-)
