CF Mitch Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hi There fellow Legofans (or more extreme ;-) ) I'm new here (duh :-P ) I've been at it with lego since I was ehm...4, 5 'bout that age. Now I'm 18, turning 19 next week. When I was younger I bought all kinds of sets, never really specialised in certain theme's or so. But when I was around 12, 13, my parents decided I wasn't allowed to buy more lego. Quite understandably since I have no room in the house *wacko* |-/ :-( But a while before that I was already starting to collect Star Wars lego, and it just kept getting cooler so did kept buying. Then 1 or 2 years ago the new City line came up, and now my dream is to create the 'perfect' city, and I believe it's quite possible with these awesome new sets *sweet* Next to that, i'm still looking forward to the new SW sets *wub* Well, that's about all I guess, if you have any other questions, just ask ;-) :-$ Quote
Hobbes Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hello and welcome to EB! Always good to see a City fan *y* Hope to see some pics of your perfect city some time. Until then enjoy your time here :-) PS: There's a guy here who keeps babbling about some castle. Just ignore him... :-P Quote
El Bucanero Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Don't forget the guy who's always babbling about some pirates! X-D I'm also Dutch! Welkom! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted February 8, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted February 8, 2007 Did you already start building that 'perfect' city? Or started buying the new city sets? I'm not Dutch, but Belgian so we should speak the same language. Welcome and enjoy! Quote

Norro Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Welcome to EB! I also strive to create a perfect 'city' but lego isn't releasing many civilian orientated castle sets these days... PS: There's a guy here who keeps babbling about some castle. Just ignore him...:-P Wow! I hope he drops by the H and A forum...we can always use more castle fans. God Bless, Nathan Quote

Or started buying the new city sets?I'm not Dutch, but Belgian so we should speak the same language. Welcome and enjoy! Ey there, I haven't actually started building yet, as in placing everything on a big platform or so, but I do have almost all the sets, the police sets and Fire dept. sets are stuffed in my closet *wacko* 8-| And the rest is somewhere else, but like i said I have absolutely no more room in my house. So I'm afraid the whole builidng project has to wait till I leave my parent's house. Or till I have enough money to rent a room or something. But momentarily all my ''live'' plans are on a halt. Because i've had a lungtransplant the 1st of January. Long story, PM me about if you will...but because of that I have to recover and all, get into a new rithm a home and blabla 8-| Anyway.... Thnx for the nice & funny welcoming messages so far :-D ;-) Gtrz CF W Quote

Be in time! ;-) But to be serious: Hope you have finished with the worst. What could be better than recovering with Lego! :-) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted February 11, 2007 Governor Posted February 11, 2007 Greetings CF WeaZZel! "WeaZZel" reminds me of Pauly Shore for some reason. What does CF stand for? Quote
CF Mitch Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 Greetings CF WeaZZel!"WeaZZel" reminds me of Pauly Shore for some reason. What does CF stand for? CF stands for Cystic Fibrosis, that's a lungdisease I suffer, and also the reason why I needed the lungtransplant I had.... I chose WeaZZel because I once heard my real last name means weazel (Wezel in dutch)....turns out to be rubbish but by that time it was already 'too late' :-P So now i'm known as CF WeaZZel at almost every forum I go.... Anyways, Happy Birthday lad! Have a great day! Quote
CF Mitch Posted February 13, 2007 Author Posted February 13, 2007 Thnx everyone *sweet* Yes the nearest Legoland is in Germany, but I have been in Legoland Windsor once. It was pretty cool there, but we couldn't stay too long, we were on a holiday to London, and the last day we visited Legoland, before taking the ferry back to Holland. Quote
simonwillems Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 The nearest Legoland for Holland depends on in which part of the country you live. From Zutphen (center of Holland) to Billund Denmark was exactly 800 km I cycled it(yes.... on a bicycle). On a different cycletrip I went past Legoland Germany, and that was about 950 km from my home. So it being in Germany doesn't necessarily make it closer, because Germany is quite a large country. 8-| Quote

How long did the trip took Simon? Quote
