April 30, 201311 yr Personally I quite like it. The only thing is some people may not be that creative. I know that if I take a dremel or other multi tool to any of my lego - the result would just look rubbish. If it was something you were going to sell with the instructions - I think it would be a great addition.
April 30, 201311 yr Author i think i can make instructions for that piece :P it's not that hard to do ...it only requires scissors and the tool to make holes in belts (u can find that at the hardware store) ps: i won't sell instructions :D ill give em for free Edited April 30, 201311 yr by piterx
May 2, 201311 yr Author Hell yeah! the chassis is 90% done and im really happy with it, it's solid tidy and "small"...it doesnt have almost no useless parts :P i've also started working on the bodywork...i have the front of the car done and im quite happy with that but i'll leave the bodywork unrevealed till the end ^^ btw, the gearbox works really fine now even if the shfting is not soooooo precise (but it's enough anyway) the servo does its work pretty well and the overall speed is satisfying...now i just need to find a more elegant way to make brakes :D lol how much time im spending on this moc !!!
May 2, 201311 yr I like the mudgard idea but are you sure you need brakes? I think they would be pointless in this as it doesn't look heavy enough to need them.
May 2, 201311 yr Author Yeah i think i need em because theres the auto clutch that causes the car to be always in a neutral gear. ... Lets say i drive it into a slope its gonna crash 100% :D (and it might be funny lol)
May 3, 201311 yr Author glad to introduce you all to my small handbrake system :P it seems to be very effective and simple to motorize :) hope you like it ^^ Edited May 3, 201311 yr by piterx
May 4, 201311 yr You could also add the small handbrake lever in the front too! Edited May 4, 201311 yr by Someonenamedjon
May 4, 201311 yr Author there's the rubber part pushing against the rim...i haven't tested it yet but it should do its job :D
May 4, 201311 yr Author small teaser :P i a bit unsure about printing my own stickers, for the logo and some other stuff...shall i? i
May 5, 201311 yr Author FINALLY ! the chassis is done 900g of weight, all the features are working fine included the brakes system that i didnt expect to be so strong :) i've almost finished the bodywork too but i think im gonna print some stickers just to add something more :D btw with the body its weight is around 1200g in 2 days ill make an official LANCIA FULVIA post
May 5, 201311 yr I think this is the gretest car, i have ever seen in so small scale! Cant wait to see the whole model.
May 5, 201311 yr Author is that from xbox 360? coz i have that too! :P (damn! it has a black hood in the back i made it red....hmmm now i have to change it XD)
May 5, 201311 yr I have it for ps3, but yeah I might try to build a car from the game since you can look at it in detail in the garage
May 5, 201311 yr I have Dirt 3 for PS3. I've been on it a lot recently. Anyway, back to the car... It's fantastic, and I'm very jealous. I really need to start working on my F150, but I've had to start again :( I hope to see more MOC's like this from you.
May 5, 201311 yr Author thanks guys it's very satisfying reading such nice comments from you! hope you'll like the bodywork too ^.^
May 5, 201311 yr I have it for ps3, but yeah I might try to build a car from the game since you can look at it in detail in the garage Build the Scion TC Gymkhana, or the Metro 6R4 RallyX
May 5, 201311 yr Build the Scion TC Gymkhana, or the Metro 6R4 RallyX hmmm sounds good, scion probably easier chassis wise, what's your PSN id? btw piterx, does the gearbox withstand a lot of torque?
