Inconsistent color within a set.

Even without any UV fade do the older red liftarms have less saturation compared to new ones? The ones that came with my Unimog are vibrant and bright while the ones on the 8420 are slightly duller but not as transparent looking if that makes sense. I don't think it is UV fading because even some of the pieces that were in on the inside away from all light have this issue too.

This is a picture of the 1x3 liftarms. The one on the right is more orange-brown than red.

Yes, I agree too. From all my old Lego only white seems to be really affected by UV, turning yellowish.

Well, no, I can't fix the hyperlink because that topic is GONE. All I did was copy/paste one of my previous posts (which I had repeated ~4 times over the months).

Take my word for it -- Oxyclean works on faded Lego bricks. Just follow the instructions on the container.
