Jipay Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 they are much more than you canthink... the following episodes will tell more about this ;) Quote
DoubleT Posted May 27, 2004 Author Posted May 27, 2004 don't they tell them EVERYTIME not to use technology they can't handle?!? sometimes i think, the tok'ra are so much arrogant... (except carters dad) Yes indeed they are... Quote
Jipay Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 they are goaulds, so their behaviours are leading them to arrogance Quote
ApophisV Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 JIPAY!!!!! THEY AREN'T GOA'ULD!!!!! :P they are TOK'RA!!!! :loul: Quote
Jipay Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 They are still snakes who cannot live by theirselves ;) Quote
ApophisV Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 oh, they CAN.... but swimming into a lake the whole day isn't very interesting, isn't it?!? :loul: Quote
Guest Jipay not logged Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 They can't ! They need a little amount of electricity, which can be provided by naquada for example. The real question is : where are the goa uld coming from ? Quote
ApophisV Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 there is this episode, where they swim in a lake and one wormy jumps out of the water and erm... *think*... an unas(?) catches him in the air or something like that... as far as i remember, its the episode, where daniel gets kidnapped by a unas... Quote
Jipay Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 Yes but as for starwars, we can see contradictions. I know they need a small amount of electricity due to the episode where teelc is infected by an insect. they need to keep a goa uld alive to save him and they found electricty was a necessity for a symbiot to survive Quote
ApophisV Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 erm... yes.. okay.... but how did they survive in this lake??? are they living there in a symbiotic way with electric eels?!? ;) Quote
Jipay Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 I dunno, this seems to be another little contradiction in the stargate world : they nedd electricity to survive but they survived in a lake without electricity  Quote
jonfett Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Not every thing in life is logik ;) Especially around here, there seems to be a lack of it! Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 guys, please stay on topic!!! (please, only this single time!!!!!! i know, we are able to do that!!!! :P) maybe the snakies has their own little power plants in the lake... *g* Quote
Jipay Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I don't know. It seems we are both right. Today I saw in a shop that they already have integral season 6 for...gaps... 119 euros I guess it's so expensive because all the episodes haven't been on screen yet Quote
ApophisV Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 huh... 120Euro... i would wait a little bit, till there is the next season out... its the same with the matrix dvds, i got matrix one for 8 euro, matrix 2 for 10 and matrix 3 would be 22 euros in THE SAME STORE!!! It seems we are both right that always happens if they change things after a while... they even changed the look of the goa'uld... in the first and second season the symbionts were those silly mechanical snakes, now they are this bad looking spikey cgi-snakemonsters... Quote
Jipay Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Well, they are improving ! But it reminds me star wars : yoda in episode I is awfull then you watch episode II and you don't find him natural ! People are always complaining :P It also happen now when people are crossing the stargate... They don't disapear as in the previous season Quote
ApophisV Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 yes, and they don't freeze... in the movie and as far as i remember in the first seasons too the people were a little bit shock frosted too... ;) (important news: i dont know why, but they hadn't shown yesterday new episodes!!! ) Quote
DoubleT Posted June 3, 2004 Author Posted June 3, 2004 Well the fixed the frost thing with the gate... Quote
ApophisV Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 in reality it was too much work to make the actors looking frozen... ;) Quote
DoubleT Posted June 4, 2004 Author Posted June 4, 2004 (playing in background: Frozen with Madonna) Well maybe thats it ;) Quote
Jipay Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Yesterday it was the ned of season 7 in France. The last two episodes are awesomeeeee ! I now wonder how season 8 will be  Quote
