Dark Brick Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I wish I could buy one. How many people have bought one?-ZotS Well I have 2 on order. :-D *wub* DB Quote
Jesper Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I had the honour yesterday, to meet the Chief-Designer (during the last 9 years - except for 9 days) in LEGO-City, Henrik Andersen, who made most of the UCS models, just mentioning X-wing, ISD, TIE-Intersceptor, BOING, etc., etc.. - BUT, as he said "Not the MF". He took 6 days to build it : When a model is allmost "Cleared", a lot of different designers builds the model, and throw back their comments. So, all of you, who have allready ordered it - set of a lot of time, to build this huge "Moth..F....." - yes I am jalous. Quote
OOM-9 Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I think he ment 6 days of work in short periods: during the workhours because I doubt TLC would let anybody take it home, so it probably only took about 30 hours- still long but not impossible. Quote
Scouty Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I wouldn't be surprised if this took 3-4 days to build, and that's what I'm guessing...boy I wish I had one. :'-( . Maybe five hundred EBers could pitch in a dollar! Or 5,000 EBers pitch in a penny! X-D !!! Quote

I would be game for this! To host it too, if need be! Say 50 people send me $10 via paypal. When I have $500 in my paypal account, I will ask my wife to pick a number and that person is the winner! Enter as many times as you like. Maybe 55 people to cover paypal expenses and such. Any other takers?? Sam, Vader, Yoda, what do you guys think? PM me if you want. Jamie Quote

jamie75 Posted March 29, 2007 Author Posted March 29, 2007 I wish they had it rotating on another axis, so we could see the bottom too. We really haven't seen alot of that. I know it isn't as detailed as the top, but, it would be nice to see the landing gear and such up close. Later, Jamie Quote
