blueandwhite Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Given the US's tendency to receive cheaper sets, I would expect this to go for no more than $399 there. I'm hoping that Toys R' Us will be carrying this one, because I figure the Canadian Price will be more comprable to the European prices, and I absolutely must have this set. I would totally make arrangements to go Stateside for this one if I knew I could get it in Toys R' Us, rather than paying an arm and a leg on Shop@home. Quote

Definitely cheaper than the European or Canadian intrinsic value, but not $399 or less. Both the DSII and the ISD have a little over 3000 peices and are priced at 300 (299) USD. This has a little over 5000 peices and I'll say it will be 500 (499) USD. Quote
blueandwhite Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 My came out at $841 :-X! And yet, you know you MUST have it. Its like being hit over the head with a piano :'-( ! Quote
Andrex Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 *n* Well this has put me in a bad mood. Who in their right mind would have that kind of money lying around. I have to save up for way more important things, so that's this set out the window :-(. Lame... Never mind, maybe another time. It could go down in price, or I could import it. Quote
CopMike Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 blueandwhite - Yes, but a very nice & swooshable piano ;-) Quote
Plural Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I think i could afford it if i sold a liver. You have two, right? ;-) Quote

Starwars4J Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 blueandwhite - Yes, but a very nice & swooshable piano ;-) I'd like to see you try to swoosh that monster :-P I think i could afford it if i sold a liver. You have two, right? ;-) Yes but lungs are more valuable :-D I got so wrapped up in this that I completely forgot about the price...gah, now I'm worried about it being sold out before I can get the cash together.... blueandwhite Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I think i could afford it if i sold a liver. You have two, right? ;-) Actually, I think you either mean kidney or lung. You only have one liver, and only can donate part of that. Quote
sam89 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Actually, I think you either mean kidney or lung. You only have one liver, and only can donate part of that. I believe he was joking. It's a joke from the Simpsons: "I'll sell one of my livers. I can make do with one" X-D Quote
CopMike Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Pictures up & running now - nothing new though |-/. ImperialJohn - nice going mate *y*! Holodoc - Sickbay, it Quote
casewindu Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Maybe we should start a new thread:What Lego would you sell, to get that UCS Millenium Falcon? ;-) I could help you with that. Scalpel is ready! See you at sickbay then. :-D i could never sell any of my lego. Even for more lego! lol Quote
CopMike Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Now we have to start on our Docking Bay 94-MOC, I guess it will need quite a lot of pieces ;-)! copmike Quote

OOM-9 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 This NEEDS to be available in the US!!! SOON! I hope the addition of the certificate doesn't mean limited production and a short time period to get it! Simply amazing. Quote
blueandwhite Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 This NEEDS to be available in the US!!! SOON! I hope the addition of the certificate doesn't mean limited production and a short time period to get it! Simply amazing. Don't say such terrible things. I think most of us are already stressing over the price. The last thing we need to do is freak out over limited availability! Now, I'm just completely freaked *wacko* ! Quote
KMOI Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Good god! That thing looks incredible! It's spot on to the real thing! Price and all that aside, I'm FLOORED by this. So much for cost-cutting. :-D Say, does anyone know what the blue exhaust *effect* of the engine is made of? It looks far too complex for a sticker... :'-) Quote
oo7 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Close, but no cigar! In sickbay the people are far less enthusiastic. X-D BTW- it Quote
captaintau Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I just got my MF out for a swoosh. I measure it about 16" long, so the UCS one is about twice the size, give or take. Swooshing is difficult, though not impossible. I'd love this new one but space prohibits. Quote
