Something medium-sized I've been working on. This is still a "prototype", technically speaking, so any suggestions and inputs would be awesome.

This was actually made BEFORE the leg, using many technic pieces and a few precious hours of my life.

The head had to go through many revisions until I found something I liked, and even this I might revamp.

Another angle of the head, this time from a bird's eye view. Again, any inputes and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Again, as indicated by the title, this isn't really the "biggest" on the forums [i've seen HUGE ones], but I wanted to go for a finished design that

made it look legit, like an actual dragon leg [spoiler alert].

This shows how big the dragon's head is.

Awesome, although you really need to find a way to fill up the center of the leg.

Got my popcorn ready, this is looking to be cool!

Wait dragon..I am stoked, the legs IMO need filling, they look skeletal.

I realized the gap in the middle is pretty skeletal, so it doesn't really go with the mood.

It think I should put some technic beams across and fill it up.

It reminds me Tahtorak. Looks nice. I would like to see more pictures :D

Huh, I never really thought of the fact that it looked like a Tahtorak, but you're right.

I don't know how necessary the piston in the leg is... the Hero Factory system is fairly sturdy, especially if you use multiple joints and friction joints the way you seem to be doing. I suppose you could keep it for aesthetic reasons, but I think it would be better if you armored over that section. The head looks pretty awesome, although the lack of eyes (and neon green shells elsewhere) distract from its elegant shaping.

An interesting head, I too see a tahtorak influence in the head(and like it, I've always liked it's style) However it seems very organic, and the color scheme is bright, melding a lot of bright red with that bright trans neon green, whilst the legs are skeletal, but also very synthetic looking and dull color-wise. I'd also watch your proportions, make sure that you have a torso built that will blend the size of the head and legs together.

I do agree there's a bit missing from the legs. Not sure what you meant by technic beams, but do avoid anything with a large variety of holes on it, stick to solid armor pieces. Since I feel this design had some resemblances to it, you can look off of my personal MOC Tyrants legs if you want for some inspiration http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70810&hl=tyrant

Thanks VBBN, I looked into Plasma, and WOW, is it something!

The only thing I'm a bit scared of is building the body, with the connection points and all.

Could you give some points on the body skeleton?

I've checked the legs and head, and they seem proportional.

I've fixed the legs, and the pics should be up in a day.

It's a WIP Dragon. Anyway, like I've said before, I would remove the piston, add a beam instead, and use one of those Stormer XL/Speeda Demon balljoint "adders" to connect an armor shell over it.

I'll throw together a few MOCups of some ideas you may want to incorporate later tonight, get some photos of that and send them your way with some comments, also I'm going to do a rendition of the upper part of that legs, as one thing I can recommend is that you will need more joint stability than that(as I see you noted with the connection points thing) We can continue this over PM however if you wish, as I can get quite lengthy with explanations.
