It's unfortunately official everyone. I'll copy a bit from the article, since it's important to read:

North Korea invades South Korea - Amateur Footage Obtained

Approximately one hour ago, North Korean forces crossed the DMZ after a buildup of forces along key areas that was not noticed by American and South Korean intelligence in the area. Taken by surprise, heavy casualties mounted as both forces attempted to keep the embattled 38th parallel...

What do you think? What repercussions could this have?

Even with its nuclear program, North Korea probably already realizes the US, South Korea, and hopefully China as well would hit Pyongyang almost immediately in retaliation. All this talk by NK is trying to bring attention to themselves, or Kim Jong-Un trying to look tough. Here's a quote from that BBC article posted above:

In Washington, President Barack Obama's spokesman that "despite the harsh rhetoric we are hearing from Pyongyang, we are not seeing changes to the North Korean military posture, such as large-scale mobilisations and positioning of forces".

At this point the UN should keep an eye out but for the most part just ignore them and keep the sanctions on.

EDIT: Sorry, meant to say 'Kim Jong-Un trying to look tough'

Yes I think they might be jumping the gun (April fools maybe?). I do believe in the tension increasing, though.

I agree. NK would be blown out if they tried anything. They really have no allies.
