Thanks Legonardo

So, the third build is in with two minutes left on the clock! Now I'm really tired and I need to go to bed. Hope you guys like my builds and the story!

Great, you made it! I love the Valyrio build, your effort in collecting those plates was definitely worthwhile. The islands look great but my favourite detail is the golden snake on the gondola. This story is really funny, at least nobody gets hurt! Beautiful ship too.

Thanks man, actually a few of those Varlyrian sell swords died during the passage!

PS: could a friendly mod please remove the "wip" status from the thread and change it to challenge VI entry? thanks

That Varlyrio scene is beautiful! I love every detail. Everything just works so well. Your tavern interior is really nice too. I like the walls a lot. The second floor woodwork has a really nice solid design. Your ship design is great. I'm a big fan of these small ships loaded with details. Your photos look considerably better than before. Great job.

So glad you could finish before the deadline! The ship is indeed a beaut  The shape is superb and the stripe is a nice touch

One of the best GoH ships yet :classic:

Thanks captn. I'm glad you commented as your opinion actually means a good deal to me! As for the pictures, I finally invested some 500 € into a new camera. I'm glad the photos turned out well.

Thanks soccerkid. The strip is in there because I only had grey hinge plates. They also broke the brown ship wall syndrome quite a bit. As for the ships in GoH, this is my third, which actually makes Mitgardia have the largest fleet now! I still have the Arandela Negra but had to break apart the Lady Emma as I need the hull sections for this project.

You don't need a mod, a friendly regulator will do. Changed. Good to see you got all that rigging sorted in time. The Valyrian build is quite lovely.

Thanks friendly regulator! (I'm actually not that familiar with all the different titles and the powers connected to them)

Yeah, the rigging was a pain in the butt. But I guess it was worth it. Maybe I could have added the one or the other string, but then I wouldn't have made the dealine. Neither did I have the time to delete the errors in the pictures. But I'm glad I was able to enter something in all six challenges as I was about to give up during challenge three!

That building complex is really cool! So much going on there, and I like how it feels bustling. Those walls must have taken a log time, but are quite unique in their texture and look. Great entry!

Great job with the boat, and good ending to the story! Especially well done woodwork on the interior, and the gold highlights look great as well!

thanks guys, glad you like it!

@ska: I started building this in October with about 250 2*1 plates and have since then constantly run out of them. Actually there are still wholes in the back of the larger building but I was so fed up with this, that only took pictures from upfront!

@kai: yeah man, I'm really proud of this ship and now have to defend it against my kids who also thinks its pretty cool!

Chendrico The Sailer, head teacher of the Mpya Stedor Naval Academy, is really proud that his pupil, Sven Thorsson sailed the ship through the storm without any notable damage!

Ofcourse, he is always welcome to stay some days in our city during his travels! Oh, and by saying that you went to the M.S.N.A. (I really hope this is not a brand of dogfood as well), you will have some privileges when sailing through the waters of the Eilandica continent (in the East)!

Anyway, a great end for your story (not really heroic, but there are enough heroic battles, so that's why I like this one)! And that ship is really fabolous!!!

some privileges when sailing through the waters of the Eilandica continent (in the East)!

see, that's the problem. Sven believes that he should be sailing West!! to get to Eilandica but Chendrico insisted that he could only go East, the equator being too large. Time will tell though!

Great stuff Kabel, good to have you on my side! And it's really true, Varlyrians are only interested in Gold. And that ship is indeed the best ship in our Navy, such a beauty, well done!

Thanks eccs, medieval ships are a challenge to build, but I enjoy it ever so much. I just hope the new GoH chapter will allow for some exploring so I can use the "rose" and take her to other places!

Ha! That's awesome that he missed the battle entirely! I was not expecting that. The ship is excellent, and I like the use of 2x1 plates in your other builds. I don't know that I will ever have the patience to build walls with those, but they look great! Nice job on the first 2 builds as well, and the spy looks really funny in the last picture. Great entry!

thanks rough, actually builing to walls was not really the problem, but getting all those 2*1 plates, I sure did annoy the heck out of local parts dealer with my constant request for more red 2*1s

as for grimmson missing the battle, I guess for me that was the best way to incorporate this into the winning story
