jindroush Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Hi guys, a fellow lady from the czech LEGO shop www.legacek.cz was so glad to take photographs for us. I would like the admins to cancel the following link as soon as possible and mirror the stuff here, I don't want to bring her server to the knees. Legacek.cz mirrored pictures on EB Quote
CopMike Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Those Vikingsets look cool. I really like the "old metal look" on helmets and axes! :oD Let the plundering begin!!! *devil* copmike Quote
sam89 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Great pics, thanks :-D Harry Potter Graveyard Duel: Looks good, although the picture doesn't show too much of it. The cart looks cool, and there seems to be quite alot of stuff inlcuded in the set. Durmstrang Ship: I actually quite like the boat. It seems a little squahed but it's still good. Hungarian Horntail: I don't think the drgon looks too bad at all, and the stand it comes with seems OK. Rescued from the Merpeople: The merperson looks great! Vikings No beards :( The axes and helmets look great though. Small Boat set: It's nice to see they've made it bigger, although I can't seen the kracken anymore, it seems to have some strange flying creature next to it instead. Battle Ram: The only clear picture of this doesn't show up, so you have to change the number at the end of the link to '954'. It looks OK, although the real reason to get this set would be to get the dragon Fortress: It's changed again from the last pic we saw, and it doesn't look quite as good although still cool. The dragon is now slughtly different (and bigger) than the red one. Viking Boat: There's only one box picture of the long ship, but I don't think it looks quite as good as it did before because the dragon head at the front isn't made of pieces, instead it's just one mold. The set still looks pretty great though, and appears to have missiles to fire at the snake. If you look along the top of the box, you can see EIGHT figures, if I'm correct. Star Wars: did anyone else notice the Clone Trooper in the Turbo Tank set with yellow markings? :-D Quote
Cutty Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 my impressions: -vikings: getting cooler and cooler the more different set-versions are showing up, the dragons do definitly look nice as they are right now, KK2 swords, metal-effect armor isn't that beautiful, horns/teeth are separate parts and are used in abundance (thumbs up! cool new part!), apparently NO separate beard-pieces whatsoever (thumbs down!), still too many bionicle-parts -minifig bionicle = my lunch in reverse mode ;) -HP: BLACK FALCON SHIELDS on the durmstrang ship!! nice! the hung. horntail indeed uses the viking-dragon wings as far as the other stuff is concerned: I don't care have a nice day, Cutty Quote
languages Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 :oo OMG :oo These sets are wicked........Lego just seems to get better and better! The only problem is the new viking ship. This was my faviourite set out of the them but I think they have ruined the front with that horrible mold. Least i can mod it. I also hate how the helmets are made out of that wierd chrome colour....I would of liked it if they were bley......o well. The Harry Potter sets look good. I like the Hungarian Horntail, but wasnt it meant to be black? The Bionicle playsets are crap. The Bionicle minifigures are all one piece, they arnt even battle-droid style. I wouldnt get thes even if they were reduced. Quote
MattZitron Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Those Viking sets look cool, but the test shots looked cooler. Glad to see the Dragons are more Lego than they seemed. Harry Potter looks cool. Love that boat. But I'm not sure of that Dragon. Star Wars Those Buzz Droids are rubbish. They should have done the legs like the Destroyer droids. Customising time!! Matt Quote
Luigi Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Again and agains pics .. I just love Eurobricks :) HP : a cool boat, I am not used to buy HP but i'll do for a time. SW : we had some pics pefore and those are cool (no pics of the walker :( ) Vikings : just *wub* It seems there are 2 boats, one coming with the fortress ? and the other the set we've seen and that we all like (but no beards :'() Quote
sam89 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I think the smaller boat is a separate set. It's the finished version of this set: http://www.brickset.com/search.aspx?Set=7016-1 Quote
The Middleman Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! *goes off to cry in a corner* Oh well. Harry Potter looks cool. Quote

MattZitron Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 :-D I just noticed that the Harry Potter Boat has a classic castle sheild on it! :-D Matt Quote
Jipay Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Yeah some of the potter sets have a great potential. This line is definitly improving :) Quote
The Middleman Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I can't wait to see what they'll do for the missing set numbers in the Goblet of Fire line! :oo Quote
erao Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I hope these great sets can release soon... :| The only problem is the budget >:( Quote
Vader Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I think that we all have budget problems where lego is concerned and some of us are off to get a bank loan....again :-D ;) Quote
MattZitron Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Confusion is how much of that graveyard is the set, and how much is for the show? Quote
sam89 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I think everything you can see in the picture is in the set (except those black plates on the far right of the picture). Quote
David85 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 The Harry Potter boat is terrible! The Vikings are getting worse everytime we see them. And the dump truck is not big, not huge, it's MASSIVE! Quote

Vader Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 It does look that way dosent it :'( i was hoping that it would be better than that. Quote
Sting Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 HARRY POTTER ---> Boat is better than I expected, but I still hate those hulls. Oh well... it doesn't look too bad. I really love the little captains "Bridge" room up there. I hate those baby blue Crow's nests. The Graveyard set is bigger than I originally saw from the picture I saw. I really like it... hopefully that cart comes with it. And I love that "Blonde Hair" piece(i'm assuming its Lucious?). The dragon is, as I saw, terrible. It looks like 1 big piece with some extra horns and wings added on. It has alot of potential because the face is cool... but I don't like its stance. If you look closely I think it comes with a Fleur minfig.(If you've read the books you'll know). Merman set is okay... nothing spectacular but I do like the scenery. VIKINGS -----> I like the old fashioned iron look to the weapons. I wish we had beards.... and the Longboat still looks good. Lots of figs. The fortress is still okay, but not nearly as good as it once was. I hate what they've done with the little keep. When I get that set i'm taking off that catapult. I also don't like how so many sets need cages... and I like the gold helmets the Viking 'lords' have. Thats all I looked now... I must await Adventurers on the 20th I believe...correct? Quote
sam89 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 It seems to be becoming more and more likely that the Adventures sets aren't being made, but we can hope they're shown at the US Toy Fair. Quote

They can always be delayed until next yera. I mean Lego really have a lot of sets already for this year and might be saving them for 2006. Quote
