def Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 DAY EIGHT Li'l Rick just wants to get his swing on. As the crowd comes for him, they demand answers. "Why aren't you wearing your crown, pal? Too good to mayor?" Li'l Kiel asks. But Li'l Rick ain't gonna get played like that. "My hair, buddy, you wouldn't know, you wig-wearer. Nothing touches this bed-head." Li'l Kiel is having none of it though. "I ain't your buddy, pal. Time we taught you some manners." While some might call what they do to him manners, most people would call it barbaric. When left for dead, Li'l Rick is as unhappy as before. What was learned? Well, a frown turned upside down can often still look like a frown. In the classroom, Mr. def prepares to teach his ever-decreasing pupils. "Yes, yes, Li'l Rick was scum. He was scumming up this place. Three correct lynches out of seven? That's a pretty good record." As per usual, he is suddenly startled. "And the se~ six of you?! Didn't you do this yesterday? Don't you have the buddy system? Hold hands on the way inside. Where is Li'l Endgame?" He looks out yonder window. "Hark! What light doth break on Li'l Endgame's li'l corpse?" He continues to narrate: "Li'l Endgame is now deceased. Of course, he was town." He summons his strength. "Okay, once again, vote for mayor. You know the drill!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Day eight has begun. You have just over 24 hours to elect a mayor, and then a further long, low-posting 48 hours to lynch someone. The Host Mr. def (def) - the teacher The Players Li'l Capt. Redblade (Capt. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town or the Scum. To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to (knowingly) outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting will be done in the following format; Vote: Player. Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Player. No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. The player with the most votes will be lynched. In the case of a tie, the mayor will decide the lynch, through their vote, or by PM if necessary. Voting is mandatory. Failure to vote will incur a vote penalty the following game day. 2.5. A mayor will be elected in the first 24 hours of the game day one. Voting for the mayor will be done in the following format: Mayor: Player. Unvoting for the mayor will not be allowed. One may vote for themselves. In the case of a tie, the first person to achieve that number will win. In the case that the mayor loses their life, a new mayor will be elected in the first 24 hours of the following game day. The mayors single duty will be that of tiebreaker. 3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hour. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached after 72 hours. In the case of a unanimous vote, the day may end 24 hours early. After the day has been concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last 24 hours (or 48 hours if an emergency comes up). Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 20 hours of the night stage. 3.5. Players may not target the same player two nights in a row, and may not target themselves. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as any that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the host via PM. That includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 5.5 Do not use the wording of the host to publicly back up your claims. Statements about the game made before the game started are fair game, but those made in game should not be considered either way in strategising. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. Do not spam the hosts's PM box. 11. Violation of the above rules may result in a 5 vote penalty vote penalty per every 4 living players against you, and death upon further offense.
XimenaPaulina Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 First things first, to ensure that the town have the tie-breaker in the worst case scenario that we're tied with the scum: Mayor: Li'l KielDaMan I'll say more later.
Nightshroud99 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Ahh yes, take that scummos! Now we need to elect a mayor, I have a good feeling about Lil Kiel, and as he was one of the first to jump on Rick, I'll vote for him. Mayor: Li'l KielDaMan
XimenaPaulina Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Just to clarify something before I get questioned about this: successful [/b]at converting somebody last night.']I was successful at converting somebody last night. I was converted on Night 6 to the masonry. Due to a minor slip-up in scheduling, Endgame wasn't able to reveal me as the next mason before the day ended yesterday. Nevertheless, the masonry have succesfully converted another townie last night. Here's our situaton today: - The fact that Rick turned out scum and they didn't force a tie yesterday (or the previous day) just means we are not tied with the scum, so we're 4 Town vs. 2 Scum today. - The last two scums could either be two killers or one killer+one converter. - Our prime candidate for lynching today is none other than Li'l Redblade for various scummy reasons. Even without the benefit of night action evidence against him, his blatant scummy behavior in the past couple of days are reasons enough to lynch him. I'll gather the behavioral analysis evidence of his posts later, but if you've been observant throughout this ordeal you'll know what I'm talking about.
Walter Kovacs Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 mayor:L'il KielDaMan (KielDaMan) Long live the Mayor (or at least do better than your predesessors.) I'm sorry to see Endgame go. But the battle lines should be pretty clear Stupid phone. There should be a now at the end of that sentence. On Endgame's orders, I blocked Peanuts last night. So we at least know he wasn't out killing last night, as I didn't get blocked last night either.
XimenaPaulina Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 On Endgame's orders, I blocked Peanuts last night. So we at least know he wasn't out killing last night, as I didn't get blocked last night either. The only problem with that claim is we have no way of verifying that you indeed blocked him, it's just your word at this point and nothing else, so we should NOT easily discount the possibility that Peanuts may still be a scum and possibly a killer. This is not a direct accusation on Peanuts, I'm just stating that we shouldn't easily 'clear people' based on an unverified roleclaim. If you're indeed the Town Blocker Walt, then good for us, but even if you seemed to have redeemed yourself from a possible lynch yesterday every unconfirmed player (including you) at this point is still on our suspect list. I think you'll understand that since the town is just taking the side of caution.
Walter Kovacs Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I agree. Peanuts was not the killer last night. He could still be scum. I was just getting the info out so that everyone knows what went on last night.
Zepher Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Mayor: Li'l KielDaMan (KielDaMan). A matter I can trust the town in. If KDM was lying, the real masons would probably come forth and correct us, so I trust him. I agree, also, that the town must be 4 v. 2. Which is really good for us. Finally, I'd still like to keep an eye on Walter today. His PMs rang true to me yesterday, but those were from BEFORE Dave was dead, so its very possible something has happened since then. If we lynch him today and find him scum, we can probably assume he was lying about blocking Peanuts and ta da, we've got our final two scum.

For obvious reasons, I'm much more inclined to vote for Redblade today. Since the Masons have come out, they've not led us astray. And I see no reason to not continue that trend. Zepher, you almost sound like you are trying to divert attention from a scummy compatriot.

We're still far from safe, but with two masons, two townies and two scum, it should be our game to lose now. It seems the mason was right about Rick, and I was suspicious of Li'l Redblade before, so I'm more than inclined to follow them today as well. There has to be at least one mason left alive, and Li'l KDm claimed it's him. That's a bold statement, and I doubt he'd lie about this. If he did, certainly the real mason would come out and we at least and contest his claim soon enough, so I'll just Mayor: Li'l Kieldaman
def Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 As mayor votes cannot be undone, Li'l KielDaMan is the new mayor!
Capt. Redblade Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 - Our prime candidate for lynching today is none other than Li'l Redblade for various scummy reasons. I'm disappointed in the sheepish behaviour this town is demonstrating. I've had no reason to target anybody. Hell, I've had no option to target anybody. I have no night action whatsoever. I'm a vanilla who's been stuck in the dark this whole time. If you lynch me, you let the scum killer go free, and you'll reduce the numbers to 2 vs. 2. If I had a say in this (which I apparently don't ) I wouldn't want to risk those odds. Don't blow this, town!

Don't blow this, town! The town has turned this game around and brought us back from the brink of losing; yet you call them sheep? Unfortunately, claiming vanilla now probably isn't going to work, and yes you do have a say in this. If you are indeed town then share your input and continue. Your post sounds like the last breathe from a dying scum, in my opinion.
Peanuts Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 If I had a say in this (which I apparently don't ) I wouldn't want to risk those odds. Don't blow this, town! Well, we don't want to risk these odds, which is why we are voting for the most suspicious person. Of course, there's always a certain minimum risk involved, unless there's incontrovertible evidence. Can you provide incontrovertible evidence? If not, what would you suggest in order to avoid taking a risk? I don't know if there is any defense right now that can save you, but if there is one, it's definitely not calling the town a flock of sheep.
def Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 Voting has opened! You have just under 48 hours to lynch someone.
XimenaPaulina Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I'm disappointed in the sheepish behaviour this town is demonstrating. Yep I agree with everyone, calling the town sheep isn't really helpful Redblade, if you're town. Heck, the last person to call the sheep town turned out to be a scumbo (the great LBW). I've had no reason to target anybody. Hell, I've had no option to target anybody. I have no night action whatsoever. I'm a vanilla who's been stuck in the dark this whole time. Claiming vanilla at this point is the easiest alibi for a scum. If you're scum, you would probably know by now (through fellow scum Hinck's insider info) that we have no way of verifying that you have no action, so it's very convenient for you to claim vanilla. Don't blow this, town! We're doing our best not to blow this golden opportunity we have been given. Unfortunately, even if you claim you're town, you really haven't been helpful. I understand real life situation might get in the way of you being active in the game, but the very least you could do with your limited time is to cooperate with the town voting, which you clearly didn't do yesterday. Allow to refresh everybody's memories: With the votes tied at Rick - 2 vs. Redblade - 2, Redblade intentionally (and inexplicably, at that point) does not vote for Rick even if he is the other lynch candidate. The normal reaction for someone in danger of being lynched would have been to vote for the other lynch candidate to save himself, but in retrospect now that Rick is proven scum, that was a rather obvious attempt to steer away the votes from fellow scum Rick isn't it? Pls. tell me, Li'l Redblade, how your vote yesterday is a move of a townie, which you claim to be. Please explain. Vote: Li'l Capt. Redblade (Capt. Redblade)
Zepher Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Redblade is at least speaking up. He's not acting at all cagey... and while he is maybe defeatist, he doesn't seem to have scum teammates urging him on to defend himself. I think that it is finally time to test out the theory that was presented by the masons a number of days ago. If Walter flips scum, then we will KNOW for a fact that Peanuts is scummy too, because Walter was protecting his sorry tentefeelers- er- I mean hide. I miss the moon. You Earthlings have been making me lose focus on it. I mean, us Earthlings. Or something. We like the moon too, right? I'm hungry for cheese. Point is, let's get someone we have results on. Walter was unrecruitable, let's find out why. Rick yesterday claimed too that the scum had "blocked" a recruitment on him, but that was not the case. Let's see if it follows through. Li'l Walter Kovacs (Walter Kovacs) I'm sorry, I meant to say an action verb before that: Vote: Li'l Walter Kovacs (Walter Kovacs)
Peanuts Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I'm sorry, I meant to say an action verb before that: Vote: Li'l Walter Kovacs (Walter Kovacs) This looks an awfull lot like you are trying to distract from a lynch on Li'l Redblade... Also, can you explain the logic here please? Walter claimed to be a blocker before, which may or may not be true, regardless of his allegiance (we know for a fact that the scum had a blocker at some point). Okay, assuming we know he's scum, we can at least conclude that he lies about blocking me, because, let's face it, I'm not a worthwile target for a scum blocker. But why does that mean I am scum? He could lie about blocking anyone, town or scum alike. Redblade has been more suspicious, and lynching him wouldn't be too much of a bold venture, I think. Hence I'll Vote: Li'l Redblade
Walter Kovacs Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 That's the second time today that you've tried to steer the lynch onto me, Zepher. I think I know where tomorrow's lynch vote belongs now. But we still have to vote today. Redblade has been pinging scum to me for days now, but therir hav been better candidates over the past few lynches, so now it is finally time. Vote: Li'l Capt. Redblade (Capt. Redblade)
def Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Vote Tally: Li'l Redblade 3 (Kiel, Peanuts, Walt) Li'l Walter 1 (Zepher) Another 23 hours left, I assume there is heavy action going on behind the scenes....
XimenaPaulina Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 In the likely event that I get killed tonight, I'll be revealing the next mason who the rest of the townies could trust and turn to if this ordeal ain't yet finished by tomorrow - Zepher. Here's hoping for the best of the town!
def Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 Day eight ends, Redblade is lynched. Send your night actions in!
