Bobskink Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) Here's the other duo I've been working on. I know the theme is a little darker than the Batman and Robin, but Jules and Vincent are also one of my favorite movie duo's. I tried to give it a Duplo aproach aswell, so no guns or violence, just some other movie acceosries. A front vieuw: Jules Winnfield, Vincent Vega Looking cool togeather: And offcourse a box. I was a little impatient with this one, so it needs to be tweeked some day. Anyway, hope you like these aswell, I really enjoyed reading the comments on my other Duplo customs. In fact, I started this duo before Batman and Robin, but John Travolta's face was really difficult, so it really took a while... Edited May 6, 2013 by Bobskink Indexed Quote
Devorath Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Very Nice! I thought you meant Superman and Superboy for your other duo. Not too familiar with Pulp Fiction, but nice customs! Quote
Pandora Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 These are fantastic and hilarious! I love the joke of having a pre-school toy and based on a violent Quentin Tarantino film, and the customisation is done extremely well. Adding in the $5 shake and a 'tasty burger' (Royale with cheese?) as accessories (along with the suitcase) are nice touches too. I will, however, move this to Special Themes, the home of DUPLO, as this (unfortunately) isn't a real License. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Hahah! These are spot on! "Royale with Cheese" Quote
Rick Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 That's a tasty burger. You really captured the essence of the scene in a few Duplo pieces. Oh, and the characters are nice too. Quote
theultimatetoa001 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Hopefully no one will shove this or a watch up there a#$ if the set was real. (Note :thats a reference to the movie) Quote
Bobskink Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 Hopefully no one will shove this or a watch up there a#$ if the set was real. (Note :thats a reference to the movie) Well, I am actually planning to make another Pulp Fiction set, with a mom, a veteran soldier and a kid ;) .... Thanks for the comments. And mods, thanks for the moving and the Batlogo. Quote

Princess Muttonchops Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 OMG they're perfect. I would love to see a Duplo version of Uma Thurman, or Bruce Willis... Quote
Yatkuu Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 It's been a while since I last saw the movie but I believe this burger is not a Royale with Cheese... but a Big Kahuna Burger. Extremely well executed, the figs, the artwork... everything is perfect! Quote
ibecks Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 This just got a massive laugh from me. They're awesome! Quote

Pandora Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I just noticed this thingy at the start of my topic what does it mean? It means you've been indexed in the all-singing-all-dancing Special Themes MOC index! You can find your entry here. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Not all of us are so organised as Rufus That is one excellent custom there. I look forward to future projects! Quote
