Maxim I Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Great idea with the map! I have also something like that in the tube. Just have to take some photos of it first! =) Your story is great and that large room with all the importanat minifigs are really nice! I do feel that you could have built a baseplate for your army. Looks weird that they march on a table..? Why do your sigfig always have the helmet on? Even inside, in an important meeting he is sitting with his heavy helmet on and the visor down..? Other than those little nitpicks, great entry DM! They were marching toward the cookiejar on the end of the table And hmm, great point of you about the helmet I had a reason for that I think, but now I think about it, it didn't really made sense Thanks!! Maxim I Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 And as our beloved moderator didn't deleted my "WIP"-status, I decided to quickly (like in 2 hours) make a 4th decent MOC: Click on the picture to go to the first post! Quote
robuko Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I really like your double-double-crossing ninja ending. Now I see why you needed 2 teams. It has a very Tarantino feel to it, not just the names but the violence. Cleaning up your pictures made a really big difference. And I love the chapter titles, very witty. Quote

Maxim I Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 the last moc is one of your best ones so far! Love the teddy bear! Thanks I was really rushed when I made it (in around 2 hours), so there are some things I would have added if I had the time, but still I am really pleased with the result myself so But the first MOC of this entry still is my favourite Quote
Kayne Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 These are great DM! Now that it is finished I will comment....the maproom is great and a totally unique idea, which I think should count for even more! The fourth build is also fantastic, but now you have the tough choice of which 3 to be scored! Quote

Thanks to Historica, I am really started to like building interiors For sure the first and 4th build. But I am still not sure about what to choose as 3rd scored build Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Hey man, someone has to tell me to change it after all! Quote
SkaForHire Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I think Robuko was hinting at Reservoir Dogs, so he should get the digital cookie if that is it. Quote

Torgar Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Great entry, I really like how you incorporated the map into your build, and your story is excelent! Quote
Maxim I Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Thanks Torgar! Wow, for the first time in my life something of me has been blogged: http://xbricks.blogspot.de/2013/05/the-mounted-alleenridders-by-damaximus.html this really feels good (translation of the german phrase: 'A really impressive collection') And now officially: scored builds will be: First build: Mpya Stedor Conference Room Second build: Winter Is Coming By Boat 4th build: Viktor's Room Quote
Legonardo Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 nice entry! love your last build most. good luck! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Wow, for the first time in my life something of me has been blogged: http://xbricks.blogs...-damaximus.html this really feels good (translation of the german phrase: 'A really impressive collection') Well deserved blog, I really liked that cavalry! Also great builds and quite some story. I'd better send some men to the border assuming Nocturnus will attack there. And nice touch using names in dutch! And now officially: scored builds will be: First build: Mpya Stedor Conference Room Second build: Winter Is Coming By Boat 4th build: Viktor's Room Did you also put that in your first post, because it will get easily overlooked here. Thanks!!! Fun thing is that a few days after taking those pictures, a friend of me sold 15 horses to me (for a cheap price), so now I already have 60 Mounted Alleenridders (there are 45 on the picture) I use a lot of dutch when creating characters, but always with an eastern touch (for example Sir Ereh Ahn Roblaw, Prof Geshi Edeh Nis, Prof Menshe Isra Ahr, ...) And I'll do it right now (kinda forgot it ) Quote
Erynlasgalen Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Nice color combination on the fourth build, the gold and dark bley really pop with each other. The map room is nice as well, it is very Kaliphlin feeling and I love the addition of the hand drawn map. Great work Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I think you picked the right builds for scoring! Your interiors are quite lovely. Love the little teddy bear in there. A fun little Easter Egg for sure. Quote
Maxim I Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 nice entry! love your last build most. good luck! Shame on me for looking over your comment! Thansk LD Nice color combination on the fourth build, the gold and dark bley really pop with each other. The map room is nice as well, it is very Kaliphlin feeling and I love the addition of the hand drawn map. Great work thx!! I was surprised myself when I saw the result of the color combination in my 4th build It really gives a majestic touch to the dark interior And the map room is created around the map I think you picked the right builds for scoring! Your interiors are quite lovely. Love the little teddy bear in there. A fun little Easter Egg for sure. So every now and then the teddy jumps in a MOC Thanks ZC! Quote
