Hi Everyone!

After the tremendous success of the first guess-the-CM-series-by-their-colors puzzle, I try another one. This time, every minifig in a series is represented by 3 colors, which makes it easier to solve, I hope. There are some rules/hints, which help you:

The three colors from top to bottom are: head(gear)/torso/legs. No accessories played any part.

If the head is yellow – which is for most cases – then the color represents the headgear, unless the head is yellow and there is no headgear, but this case is very rare.

If the head is not yellow, then the color represents the head for most, but not for all cases!

The torso color is the base color for most cases, but sometimes I wanted to show the color of the arms or the printing color for the torso, because if the torso color had been always the base color, many minifigs would have been one-colored– for instance the butcher in CM 6. I wanted to avoid it. If there is only a little amount of other color in the torso, than it isn't shown. Where is the limit between lot and a little? The waiter is plain black, but the man-bat is not.

For the colors, I tried to use the official colors. I used the color tones I found here:

http://www.peeron.com/inv/colors

The list is a little bit incomplete; it misses medium azure or light aqua for example, I found those colors at other places.

I didn’t find the official colors for the molds for series 10. This time I just picked the colors I found appropriate according to the CGI and real-life pictures.

For gold and other metallic molds, I found it hard to reflect the “shininess” of the surface by only an RGB code, so those colors maybe don’t look so good.

The hockey player’s torso has a unique color. Maybe TLG’s intention was white, but the logo on him has a very light bluish color I couldn't identify.

Since I found this puzzle easier then the previous one, let the solutions be harder. In posts, please tell me not only which bunch of color is which series, but tell me the order of the minifigs in it! For some cases, there is more then one minifig in a single series with the same order of colors. In that case, there is obviously more than one solution.

To make the fun even longer, please send the solutions of only two series at most in one post, and wait some time after that for other members to post other solutions.

I try to update this post as solutions come in, so you can see which ones are solved.

Edit: The best about doing this puzzle was to learn how many colors there are in the lego world. So many brown for example!

Good luck!

UPDATE: Solved: Top row, 2nd and last on the bottom row. Read the posts if you want to see them. Won't put the solutions here if you still want to play.

I'll bite, this one is a lot easier to recognise minifigs. What is hard is to remember which series they were in.

Top row: #3, 4, 6, 10, 8. Bottom row: 5, 1, 9, 2, 7.

I'm pretty certain about most of them.

edit sorry didn't read the details of the long post...

Another cool puzzle. And I bet the "only 2 answers per post rule" was made because of me on the last one? Haha. I figured out all 10 already but I'll give everyone else a chance haha ;)

Top row, 1st square, series 3.

From left to right:

Elf, samurai, pilot,  baseball player

Sumo, hula,  snowboarder, tribal chief

Fisherman, gorrila suit, tennis player, mummy

Space villain, alien, driver, rapper.

Top row, 2nd square, series 4

From left to right:

Crazy scientist, hazmat guy, kimono girl, Viking

Punk rocker, Frankenstein, gnome, musketeer

Hockey player, painter, werewolf, surfer

Sailor, skater, ice skater, soccer player.

I take it, you didn't read the rules? Only 2 answers per member and you have to put which figure is which for each square. You kind of spoiled it for everyone even though 2 of your answers are wrong :/

If you edit your post no one has to see what I said. No evidently I didn't read the long post... But he doesn't have to say how I'm right or wrong.

You mean series 10, I guess :classic:

In the first spoiler I'm going to break the rules a little bit and guess which series are represented. In the second spoiler, I'll follow the rules and guess the figures and series.

Row 1: 3,4,8,10,6

Row 2: 5,1,9,2,7

Row 1: Section 3: Series 8- The Thespian, Alien Villainess, Businessman, Conquistador, Cowgirl, Diver, DJ, Downhill Skier, Evil Robot, Fairy, Football Player, Santa, Pirate Captain, Red Cheerleader, Lederhosen Guy, Vampire Bat

Row 1: Section 5: Series 6- Bandit, Genie, Leprechaun, Highland Battler, Butcher, Lady Liberty, Surgeon, Intergalactic Girl, Mechanic, Minotaur, Roman Soldier, Gray Alien, Skater Girl, Sleepyhead, Clockwork Robot, Flamenco Dancer

This was a lot easier, but it also was fun and challenging at the same time!

EDIT: Yooha, would you mind posting a link to your other puzzle, I can't seem to find it.
