The Blue Brick Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I was at Walmart today and got Pharoh's Quest Flying Mummy Attack for $7.50, and Lego City Police Chase for $12.50. I love after Christmas sales.
toycardriver Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I found a MISB Indiana Jones Jungle Cutter at a local Walmart last Friday, in a different aisle than the Lego. Seeing that my dark ages kept me from getting Indiana Jones when it was new, I lucked out!
hometown_unicorn Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) i bought a job lot of lego on ebay recently for £12.28. It turned out to be the portal to atlantis, creator log cabin and lego city truck. Didn't come with any minifigures and has a few bits missing from each set, but they are almost complete. just2good Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Found 3 hidden leftover packs of Series 5 at Target today for $1.50! Best part is, 2/3 were new ones that I didn't have!
tiggerkiddo Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) For 60 bucks, I got off Craigslist (one ad) 8448 Super Street Sensation Supercar Dune Buggy No instructions for them but they're all complete. The Super Street Sensation is a pretty cool Technic car. Bought it to flip so I could buy more Lego but the temptation to keep it is strong. Very strong indeed. If I don't sell it for the price I want, I'm perfectly fine with keeping it. Edited January 18, 2012 by tiggerkiddo
Dervish Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 (edited) Just got 5 old Ninjago spinner sets for 3 euros each. Kruncha, Krazi, Chopov, Nuckal and Wyplash. Too bad those were the only ones avail, just skeleton figs :( Also a lego game, Lunar Command for 13,45 euros. Prisma Kaleva, Tampere Finland. Edited January 19, 2012 by Dervish
just2good Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I just got the new Samurai X spinner from Target for $6! It was opened, so they gave me a discount. I also got 2 CMF series 6 packs for $1.50! I pulled the Detective and Snowboarder figures, which I already have. Lastly, I tried getting the Cars set with Mack for $10 since it was opened and didn't have the instructions or stickers, but I could only get it down to $15. $15 seemed a bit much for me, so I didn't buy it.
Matej_Emperor Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 In past few days: -Samurai Showdown 3050 -Sherrifs locks up 6755 -Sheriffs showdon 6712 For 35$ (includes shipping), without instructions or box, but still in great condition, especially minifigs.
charlieboy Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I made another great find in my local free ads paper- The sets were- 8015 Assassin Droid Battle Pack (complete) 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder (complete) 7620 Motorcycle Chase (complete) 7625 River Chase (missing black net and crocodile) 7626 Jungle Cutter (missing 2 small bricks) 7627 Temple of the Crystal Skull (missing a dozen pieces) + lots of Star Wars figs,a few odd bricks, those pneumatic parts and the light and sound stuff. That little lot cost me £40!!! As if that wasnt a great deal already, I put the correct legs on General Greivous and sold him, the two ships from the battle packs, all the droids and a couple of the other star wars figs on ebay and made £45! So I got all that Indiana Jones stuff and and some great Star wars figs like the clones, the wookie warriors, light up Obi wan and Luminara, the rebel scouts and all the spare parts for absolutely nothing and made myself a bonus £5! Result!
CMP Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 My local TrU was closing, and they had a 20% sale on absolutely everything. The LEGO choice was terrible - basically whatever they scraped out of the storeroom. On the bright side, lots of discontinued stuff. Finally got my hands on a Space Police HQ for $15 off.

TheKingOfBuilding Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) I managed to get my hands on a Building The Magical World book (with the exclusive Harry minifigure) from a discount book seller for only £3, saving over £12! Edited February 2, 2012 by TheKingOfBuilding
CrazedWookiee Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Purchased 3 Republic Swamp Speeder Sets (8091) for 14.98ea. When I put them in cart and bought them LEGO, said they wouldn't be back in stock until Feb. 18, but I got an email today saying they shipped.
BigRedGoat Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Found the one remaining Apple Tree House at Target last week for $19.99. Quite the savings from the normal $45 price.
Dervish Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 (edited) Just got home from Kodin1 in Turtola, Tampere Finland. Snagged a few games with me for 15 euros each! Lego Champion, Heroica Caverns of Nathuz, Heroica Waldurk forest and Heroica Castle Fortaan. Too bad I didn't see Heroica Draida bay on that good discount there :/ Edited February 3, 2012 by Dervish
Galaxy Explorer Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 This evening I went downtown to the LEGO Store to look around and maybe get a few small things. On the sale shelf was a Death Star for 30% off due to a beat up box! I couldn't pass up a deal like that and since I'll be putting it together I'm not all that concerned about the condition of the box.

legocanuck Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 I was able to find a MISB 673 for a good price. :) I don't have enough posts to create a topic for it, but if anyone's interested in it let me know!
Bobskink Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Found my first ever Lego set, the Motor Cycle Shop from 1984, mint in box, really in exelent condition for only € 20. I'm just so happy with this, brings back lots of memories...
just2good Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I went to a distant Walmart today, and in addition to finding a ton of Series 5 figures, I found the City Space Station for $35, the POTC Whitecap Bay for $40, and the Anakin and Sebulba's Podracers set for $45! But, I didn't pick any of them up, as I decided to save my money for the Marvel Superhero sets.
Hive Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 POTC Whitecap Bay for $40 ...and you didn't buy it??? Damn I envy you Americans for your wild LEGO discounts... I'm personally waiting anxiously for POTC to go on clearance here as well, so I can finally afford those sets.
Legoman Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 POTC Whitecap Bay for $40.. But, I didn't pick any of them up, as I decided to save my money for... ...and you didn't buy it??? Indeed, that should be a crime If they still have any, I'll take 'em I've been waiting for a couple of that set at a good price since it came out. Can't say I've had any piticularly good finds recently. Always intresting to see what others come across though
TheLegoDr Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Whitecap Bay is a good parts pack. For that price I would totally pick up another. I found it locally on clearance for around $52 about a month after it came out. I think someone must have mis-marked it And London Escape was around $30. It was a good Lego day.
krystalKING Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Series 5 minifigs for .50 cents each, and a draida for $7.50.
