Unfortunately not, in the small print in the order they have the usual get out clause of price/availability etc being subject to change. You only have that right to make them honour that price if you have already had your payment accepted and thus entered in to a contract, which I have not yet because the payment line is not open until tomorrow. If it does not get flagged up as an error and they do accept my payment however then it is legally binding...

Phoned them up, and was told the track was out of stock, but if I leave the order open and call back in a week they should have some more. I do wonder if that is their default answer and what they will tell me next week!

I would have thought that the chance of getting 200 track pieces for £10 would create a pretty strong point of waiting, even if the chance is pretty small. Besides I am not in so much of a hurry that an extra week is a problem, and also curious to see what will happen!

I don't know the UK law regarding this, only Danish, but if you have received an invoice or order confirmation it is legally binding. At least in DK :classic:

I don't know if this is classed as a lucky find, but I picked up 7965 Millenium Falcon and 8097 Slave 1 for £70 on eBay yesterday. No minifigs but I reckon it was a very good deal even without. I basically got a half price Falcon (soon to be discontinued) and had a free Slave 1 (discontinued?) thrown in ! I'm going to source Bossk, Carbonite Han, Vader, Luke and Leia from bricklink as I already have new Boba, Han and Obi Wan.

I'm doubly pleased as I was about to buy the Falcon New and that would've cost me almost twice what I paid for the two ships.

^I also found a MF brand new for $70 on clearance at Wal-Mart a few years ago. Then I found Slave I used from Craigslist for $35. But mine had the figures.

But make sure you get the updated versions to match. There is a new Vader this summer, so keep that in mind.

Nice. We don't often get any decent sales on star wars Lego here in the UK. The best I can hope for In my area is 20% off a few battlepacks, and large sets on ebay UK are usualy snapped up, or run to ridiculous prices. so I consider myself lucky to have found 3 decent sets in one sitting for a half way respectable price. The only minifigures that I actually really really want are Bossk and Vader....Bossk has always been one of my favourite OT characters. Even when I was little I prized my kenner toy Bossk action figure!

Update. Lego track came back in stock on Monday and my order has been paid for and proceesed. It sold out rather rapidly (I wonder why??!!)because by the afternoon it was shown out of stock again. Back in stock yesterday, still at 5p each. Price revised this morning to 95p, which is still much cheaper than the £1.67 price it was sold at before June 1st, and still cheaper than Bricklink/Ebay, especially when you consider the flat rate postage of £2. If you are interested the part id is 6070018 from Bricks and pieces.

I found a lot of lego for 15 bucks which contained most of the pieces to 497 Galaxy Explorer I then ordered the missing pieces and completed it because i always wanted the set might sell it though for a good profit

So I stopped by my local K-Mart and found they had this on clearance :

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Cargo-Train-7939?fromListing=listing

for $135.00. Not a bad deal and I have been wanting to get into LEGO trains for years now.

So I walk it to the front register, they scaned it and the lady says to me :

"Wow! you just saved a $100 on this set."

So, I'm like "cool!"

Then I checked my reciept with I got into my car.

It must have been marked down more in the computer. :sweet:

This $180 train set cost me...

$35.00!!!

YES, $35.00!!!! :grin:

I am a happy boy!

Are you saying you got the track for 5p each, or 95p each?

Had a good find today! Came across a garage sale that was a bit messy, like they didn't plan on it but started selling just because it was nice outside. I did find a few interesting items but what I found weren't part of the sale originally. I spotted a couple yellow LEGO boxes off to the side and when I asked, they said they hadn't gotten that far in cleaning and setting up but I was told to go ahead if I wanted to.

I pulled out a box + manual of:

6071-1.gif

* dot.gif6071-1 (Inv) Forestmen's Crossing

184 Parts, 5 Minifigs, 1990

Sets: Castle: Forestmen

6048-1.gif

* dot.gif6048-1 (Inv) Majisto's Magical Workshop

175 Parts, 2 Minifigs, 1993

Sets: Castle: Dragon Knights

box only set of

6054-1.gif

* dot.gif6054-1 (Inv) Forestmen's Hideout

191 Parts, 2 Minifigs, 1988

Sets: Castle: Forestmen

and a few extra pieces including partial fire place that I recognized as from

6040-1.gif

* dot.gif6040-1 (Inv) Blacksmith Shop

83 Parts, 2 Minifigs, 1984

Sets: Castle: Lion Knights

No box or manual for that one but I was able to complete it from the mess of LEGO I found. The other 3 sets were missing a few pieces. Totaling about $10 to replace all the little missing pieces plus an expensive $20 printed baseplate and $20 female forestwoman. (ouch)

I also found another LEGO set in box but I haven't tried to ID it yet, not pictured were a couple fluffy mouse nests (threw em out), probably winter home. Missing one blue seat and a couple pieces and it needs serious car washing before I'd try to take it out of that box.

Filthy as heck. Mice have been sleeping in there for a few years.

Dude freakin sweet I still don't own any train sets are they interesting?

You bet! I think 'adictive' might be a better choice of words, and with the new sets introduced and the old ones still available, there is a great choice right now.

The only things that have been stopping me all of these years has been space and cost. For $35, I blew cost right out of the water! I still don't have the space for it though... :grin:
