I think you may find that the order gets cancelled once they manually check the order inventory for the reasons you mentioned.

I hope for you it gets through so keep your fingers crossed!

thanks! I saw some licensed figs were sold out so assumed it would work, wonder why the figs are listed as for sale?

I've just taken a look at that... When I first came out of my dark ages I tried something similar to pick up Boba Fett (I didn't know much about the site etc so tried it through the missing pieces section although I was perfectly happy to pay for them), subsequently the order was cancelled for containing licensed parts via a very nice and friendly email from Lego. The Bricks and Pieces part of the site seems a little different. Not every part for each set is listed... although, as you say, there are certain things that are listed as sold out such as the bigfig elements along with the new Batman torso and head etc, Wonder Woman's torso and legs along with Captain Cold's torso. Having them listed with a price attached does seem odd for something that should seemingly not be available for sale.

Needless to say I've now also tried my luck! :sweet:

So today I bought the following from TLG's 'bricks and pieces' service: Green Arrow, Hawkman, Green Lantern, and Sabine Wren. My order has been placed but I'm really confused, as the site says you can't order licensed figures due to licensing agreements. The four came to £14, so definitely a lucky find, but has there been a change in licensing or is this TLG making an error? Thanks :look:

It is an error. They will get pulled eventually, but not until quite a lot are sold. Something similar happened with Ghostbusters figures.

I wondered why there were suddenly a lot of Ghostbusters figure elements on BrickLink.

Looking at BL now... if you try to part out the figures from the recent sets the only parts that you can buy are those that are available from Bricks and Pieces so people have obviously done the same thing and have them up on their BL stores.

Well I've just had confirmation that the second of my 2 orders has been shipped which contains a lot of mini figure parts from the new SH and SW lines. It seems the loophole is there for those that want it.

YES! Feeling hopeful now...

So I got a rather incomplete 118-1 Electronic Train from 1968. It has most of the electronics, along with all paper items and box. Anyone wanna buy?

Same here!

First part of my order arrived today with Cyborg, Hawkman, Scuba Robin and Green Arrow (Full hood rather than folded down). There was also the uniform from the Imperial officer in the AT-DP and I had Kanan Jarrus's head and hair also.

After than I went back and made another larger order which had Sabine Wren, Imperial AT-DP Pilot, Inquisitor, Some Green Lantern mini figure parts and a few others. I'm very much keeping my fingers crossed that Maria Hill's torso is included in the B&P as well as Nick Fury. Boba Fett's torso from the Slave 1 UCS is available so there's no reason why not.

...file this under "things I never (ever!) thought I'd find at a swap meet, especially in this kind of condition!"... *most* of the parts ot the set were included... just only a few Light Gray parts were yellowed (must have been displayed in the Sun at some point)... not bad for a box/set that is 25+ years old!... & I talked them down to $16 for it...

There were also a lot of extra plume wheels in the box (9 of them in different colors, each missing 1 or 2 plumes)... too bad they wrote the price they were asking on the box in pen...

How? Every time I look, the parts say Out of Stock!

So I was browsing eBay late last night looking at job lots, when I came across this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-MINI-FIGURES-Assorted-Ships-Starwars-Ninja-/141574236139?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20f67b67eb

http://i.imgur.com/ijYtZjB.jpg

Listed at £90 BIN wow some people seriously overprice Lego.

Wait, is that what i think it is? Bottom left could it be? Boba Fett w/ printed arms and legs? The kind that sell for £130? I can't believe my luck!

Put in an offer of £60 which was accepted and now I am the proud owner of a Cloud City Boba!

I found the UCS R2-D2 and B-Wing on sale in a Toys r' us store in Sweden, both for €330

Otherwise I try to do my best to get the old UCS sets as cheap as possible...

This may not seem like the best deal ever but I think it's still a good deal.

Was looking on Gumtree and found the Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout for £40, great price considering the exclusive hulk figure and it was all complete with box, instructions and comic book. Not to mention that it's almost 3 years old and eBay prices are very high, but this was new and £10 less than the original price! The seller was also advertising the Captain America set for £15 instead of the £11.99 RRP but I still bought it as well because to be honest I'm not very likely to find the set for any less than that anywhere else. Now to find the Quinjet set with the exclusive Black Widow + Iron Man Mk7 figs :look:

Managed to find the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape for only $40 on Ebay. The only issue is that it's opened and the pieces were put in ziploc bags, but otherwise the set's in perfect condition and compared to the other prices, I think I did alright.

just picked up Slave I, 7144 from ebay, 100% complete with figures (correct grays all around too) for 20.00 USD, so Retail price 15 years late :)

Well I picked up a 75082 TIE Advanced Prototype for £19.99 delivered although without box and instructions but with all there figures.

The Inquisitor sells for around £15 on it's own so I think that's a good deal.

There is a store here called Bargain Hunt. Great place if you aren't one that cares what the box looks like. I get sets there anywhere from 30 to 60% off the Lego.com price.

One example would be the 10214 Tower Bridge. Lego price $239.99, I paid around $100.00

Out of 40+ sets I've bought there, all sets have been 100% complete for parts. One Friends set was missing the sticker sheet, The Volkswagen T1 had one of the door hinge pieces crushed. Replaced by Lego.

Picked up the 42000 Technic Racer at the local Lego store for 20% off cause the box had a slice in it.

Forget to post this a while back, but I found the Arctic Icebreaker (a Toys"R"Us exclusive) at my local Target. Knowing how odd that is, I went to customer service... bam, they sell it to me for $13. I'm just2lucky.
