badchriss Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Got a bunch of Minifigs today. Two Rebels, two Snowtroopers and one Tauntaun from the old 10th Annyversary Echo Base Set... And some random Minifigs.I guess there`s nothing too special in it and i don`t even know if they are complete (right Torsos,Heads etc); So,one of you almighty and wise ancient AFOL Gods can identify the Minifigs? (oh wait,i guess one is an older Tusken Raider i guess)
HawkLord Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I see the Tusken definitely. I see an Orc (who looks complete except for headgear) from the fantasy series a few years back and a zombie driver (he's just missing his hat) from the Monster Fighters polybag. The rest is too hodgepodge for me to decipher.
obsidianheart Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Guy in the front left is Frank Rock from Monster Fighters, complete except his six-shooter. Guy behind him was in City sets 15 years ago.
Captain Britain Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Luckiest find I've had was on eBay.. I tend to scout about on eBay looking for minifigs I need and ended up coming across somebody selling a frame with 50+ in (all DC). Ended up picking it up for £140, took out the 10/11 I needed (Two Face, Harleen Quinzell, Joker in jumpsuit etc.. the older rarer ones!) and offloaded the rest for £200 on eBay! Free minifigs and profit!

Actor Builder Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 (Un)lucky find? 70720 Hover Hunter (http://brickset.com/...-1/Hover-Hunter) for $25 @ Goodwill! No, I did no purchase it. That's bamboozling.
Junior Shark Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 That's bamboozling. Someone was certainly bamboozled. Went back to that same Goodwill today and the set was el absento. Nice to know there's still suckers in the world.
Actor Builder Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I don't even know what to say about that. The Bamboozleometer for that customer read 97.4%
Umbra-Manis Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I don't even know what to say about that. The Bamboozleometer for that customer read 97.4% That even goes beyond the people who pay the TRU markup for everything!
Junior Shark Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) Some poor child will never receive another Lego set as long as he lives. "$25 for this dinky little thing?!? Hope you enjoy having only one Lego set, son. It's either that or college." Edited February 11, 2016 by Junior Shark
Actor Builder Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Alternatively, if it was an opened set, it could have had some super rare minifigures added to it before it was given away. Some kid is chewing up a 24kt Gold C3P0 right now, all because you didn't think to pay too much for a ninja vehicle. Shame on you.
Junior Shark Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Dang. So I'm the one who was bamboozled? What an unexpected role reversal.
Actor Builder Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Dang. So I'm the one who was bamboozled? Exactly.
jonty14 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 http://brickset.com/sets/66522-1 Got the above for 49 euros at Real supermarket in Germany. Not bad for a 4 in 1 set.
P3_Super_Bee Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Today's find: 75060 - Star Wars Slave 1 UCS - Lego $199.99. Bargain Hunt $130.00
Zoshi Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Found a ~70% complete 3862 Hogwarts Game at a yard sale for $1. Learning experience, though… if someone assures you a set is complete at a yard sale, take it with a grain of salt
Actor Builder Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Learning experience, though… if someone assures you a set is complete at a yard sale, take it with a grain of salt "But...We're lying to him." -Bad Cop
Robert8 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) Look to what this guy got for $30 each Why this never happens to me? Edited February 26, 2016 by Robert8
Actor Builder Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 If my math holds up, I think he actually got that for $60.
