I picked up a used one of those the other day. I am most likely going to try and sell it to get more $ for grey blocks.

Does anyone know if that helicopter is LEGO?

The month of May 2010 was very good to me as I managed to pickup several remarkable Lego finds.

1. I was one of the fortunate Canadian Lego Shop at Home buyers that was able to purchase 2 of the 10195 Republic Dropships with AT-OT Walker at a 75% discount due to a pricing error. The sale price was C$87.50 each while the regular price is C$349.99 each. These are going to make excellent birthday gifts for my son and also my nephew.

2. Found a 3450 Statue of Liberty set essentially new in box on kijiji for only C$75

3. Also picked up a Lego Mindstorms NXT 1.0 kit on kijiji for C$100

A co-worker of my girlfriend found a UCS Millenium Falcon in a dumpster. Our theory is that someone who works inside the building threw it in the dumpster with the intent of collecting it and selling it later, but someone else got there first.

I don't think you can possibly have a luckier Lego find than that.

The best luck I had was getting the UCS Batmobile and Batcave for around $30. Manly because My mom works out at a store that happened to get a late shipment put them out for half off, and added an employee discount.

On my last tip to the Lego store the build you own minifigure container was filled with a lot of ninja torsos (red) from the vintage minifigure series, however only torsos no masks or correct heads, so i didn't get any.

Hi Everyone!

While sorting out some old toys from when I was a kid, I found I have a whole stash (maybe 40) of jumbo red & white legos, just like mentioned here...

http://www.sllab.net...s/00000149.html

See my other post http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=43579

I am willing to part with one at a time, or the entire set as a lot, depending on what the bids are for singles vs. the entire set. Please email to roxyred (at) yahoo.com if you are interested!

Not bad, that's about how much they were when they first came out. Of course, they are worth a lot more now, so good job!

I basically got a buch of old sets (in pieces) from a friend a few months back, mainly themes from the 90s. :sweet:

You, my good sir, are a lucky man. I should really start checking out garage sales in my neighborhood.
