Pyrovisionary Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Sarge hands over 225 to brickington and 350 to Thalion (Who has higher prices) in exchange for the mythril! Sarge; realising how awesome his friends were, comes to an epiphany "Brickington, we've done 2 jobs together, and I aint know nothing about you! Or any of you blokes" Sarge gestures at Thalion and Alexander "So tell me about yourselves" Ooc: Sorry guys, I was slightly confused because I didn't read Brickingtons post but thank you SOOOOOO much for the mythril. You have made me very happy! Just to verify, I have got the mythril right? Edited June 20, 2013 by Pyrovisionary Quote
-obelix- Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Thalion lowered his head, clearly getting shy as he didn't like to talk about himself too much, "Not much to tell really... I've been learning about magic in my home province for quite some time. When I finished, I was sent off to explore the rest of the world and I decided that Heroica might be the place to join, seeing as how I could learn AND do some good at the same time. I was lucky enough to have met some great new people and indeed do some good on the quests I was on. And a little fun fact, on the majority of them I had the pleasure of being with Alexander. How about you Sarge, what brings you, a veteran by human age standards here, with us?" EDIT: Before departing Thalion rushes to the market and buys one more Helmet of Duplovian guard 450 - 160 = 290 gold left. OOC: As far as Thalion is concerned, yes, of course you did. I'll talk to the rest of you; Brickington, Alexander, when we get back to the hall. I have some business to attend to." Ooc: Training time! Quote

Brickington Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Sir Brickington walked up next to Sarge. "Well where do I begin. Before I came to Eubric, you could say that I have been able to make a decent living or so where I am from. My father was a quite wealthy man and when he passed I obviously received a handsome amount of inheritance. But I never believed I should live off my father's money, so I gave it away and made my own money which turned out to be much more than the amount I had received from my father. I lived a life of luxury and still do to some extent, but something was missing back at home. I was missing adventure, I was missing out on helping out people in times of need. There's much more to the story, but that sums up why I came to Eubric." OOC: Did Sir Brickington get anything from his shovel digs? Edited June 20, 2013 by Brickington Quote
Wedge09 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) At the request of Sarge, Alexander answers: "There isn't much to say, born in a Elven village deep in the forest, as a child I learned how to handle the bow because where I born sometimes is better to avoid close combat with certain creatures; after having learned so much in my youth, I decided that I want more challenges of those who could offer my native village and therefore I set off literally in search of adventure. After visiting different places, I heard about the Heroica and I decided that it was worth deepen it. Arriving in Eurobricks, I join the Heroica and I found a place full of challenges. For 3 quests we fight together I and Thalion, right? and now we're a pretty tight-knit team." ends the archer smiling. Edited June 20, 2013 by Wedge09 Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Sarge nods at the story, wondering when Aves and they leave back for eubric. Quote
The Legonater Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 The heroes say farewell to the shop-owners, and follow Aves down the Great Highway and out the massive gates of Duplovia. For a few more moments they gaze upon the glorious walls of the city, and the green pastures and hills that surround it. Silently, peacefully, they turn back around and head for Newharbour. No dangers awaited them on this road, nor during the journey across the Crystalline Sea back to Eubric. They sat in a general silence, but still wondered if they would see the shining halls of Duplovia again. After saying farewell to Aves, they journey back to the Hall of Heroica. THE QUEST IS SUCCESSFUL! Elsewhere though, in a hidden, run-down safe house, a few men dare to raise their heads. So that's it. The treaty is signed. Despite our best efforts, this is all over. We have failed. 'Over?' Dear friend, this has scarcely begun. To be continued... QM Note: Thanks so much to you all for playing! Quote
