-obelix- Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) You're right, sorry. I'm multi-tasking right now. Loot: 25 Gold 3x Mead Smelling Salts OOC: Dont worry about it... After tying up the ambushers, Thalion takes 1 Mead, and throws it to Sarge, "Here Sarge, you must be getting thirsty..." He hands Smelling Salts to Brickington, 15 gold and Mead to Alexander, and keeps 10 gold and Mead to himself. He then turns to Ambush Leader with a grim reaper look on his face, "We ask you the questions, and you answer them - simple, right? Who are you, who do you work for, and why did you try to ambush us? And dont even think about refusing to answer or lying..." Thalion makes a small lighting bolt above the palm of his hand. Edited April 25, 2013 by -obelix- Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Sarge squeals in the excitement of torturing his own prisoner. Well the party's anyway. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 What'll do to me if I don't talk? Because there's no way I'm giving up the boss. Quote
-obelix- Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 "Have you ever heard of "electrocution"? A magical process by which a surge of energy goes through object. I heard it is really not nice. Just thinking about it now, sounds painful... Doesn't it?" Thalion raises his other hand, and creates another small lightning bolt. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 Ha! Go ahead, 'Hero'. I know your type. You're not heroes. You're murderers. You and your organization go around causing all sorts of trouble, starting riots in Haddon, killing Dragon Knights and letting criminals go. You want to know about the Hidden Skulls? We exist to stop villains like you. Quote
-obelix- Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Thalion let a small jolt of lightning touch the Ambush Leader, "Who hired you? And what for?" Quote
The Legonater Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 The Leader revels in the pain. Yes, electrocute me like the villain you are! I'd sooner die than give up anything to scum like you. Quote
-obelix- Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) "We are not the villains, for one, we dont ambush passersby's.. Oh, and that is not electrocution. This was just a small jolt. Electrocution, the real electrocution, would probably kill you. But we are not cold blooded killers and don't have time, so be it." Thalion leaves the bottle of water by the tied ambushers. " This is for you to not die of thirst before you get yourselves free. I am aware that your hands are tied, but if you help one another you should be alright. Feel free to go wherever you wish. My advice, find an honorable job and dont let our paths cross again." He turns to the party, "Lets continue." Edited April 25, 2013 by -obelix- Quote
The Legonater Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 The heroes lead the Ambsuhers to their profound replies. Clearly, the group is more dangerous than they would seem. They may have been weak, but doubtless enemies in the future won't be nearly so easy. A mild fog descends as the Heroes continue, shaken by the Leader's claims. Eventually they find themselves in front of a walled city, at a massive gate with two men guarding it. You folks don't look like you're around here. Except you, Aves. I take it you're the Heroes? QM Note: Thanks to Etzel for this beautiful moc! Quote
-obelix- Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 "Yes, we are heroes. No we are not from around here, but I assume you know why we are here and that your king is expecting us!?" OOC: Beautiful looking gate! Quote
The Legonater Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 Of course. Glad to meet you, Heroes - the name's Quellir, Duplovian Calvary. Welcome to Duplovia. I take it this is where you're stopping. Farewell travelers, Aves, Captain. Pelleaon. It was good to see you again. All the best in you endeavors! I might even stay and help if there wasn't the potential of pirate ravaging the seas. Pelleaon begins to head back to Newharbour. Have you any questions before we enter the city? Quote
-obelix- Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 "Greetings Quellir! It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Thalion and these are Alexander, Sarge and sir Brickington. I have no questions." Thalion looks at his companions. He turns to address the Bonaparte captain, "Captain Pelleaon, thank you for your assistance. Farewell!" Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) Ooc: No Palleaon! I had so much reputation to earn! "Thanks Pallaeon, I geuss we owe ye one." Sarge nods goodbye "Yea, I'm Sarge. Let's get onto the foiling plots shan't we?" Edited April 26, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote

Far from it! If anything, it is I who owe you. You men have fought bravely, and there is much honour in your quest. I will be sure to tell the Bonapartes about you. All heroes gain reputation with the Bonapartes! Quote

Wedge09 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 When Thalion released the bandits, Alexander meditates to himself "I think we shouldn't have let them free, hope to not encounter them again." Alexander is impressed by the mighty walls and when he herd that he gain reputation with the Bonapartes "Thank you Pellaeon for putting a good word with your masters. I hope we will see again helping the Bonaparte." Then "I think we can reach our employer." Really nice MOC  "Yes, my lord" says Alexander bowing down before the new Sith Lord: Darth Thalion Quote

Really nice MOC  "Yes, my lord" says Alexander bowing down before the new Sith Lord: Darth Thalion OOC: Thalion didn't release the prisoners, he just left them tied, and left them some water to keep them from dying. He is evil only a little... "Since no one wants to ask anything more, I guess we are ready to proceed..." Thalion said more to himself, as he looked at the city around them. The Legonater Posted April 26, 2013 Author Posted April 26, 2013 Let's get going, then. Come on, Aves. The Heroes enter the shining city of Duplovia, marveling at its elegance and beauty. Tall buildings, beautiful structures, and ruins of old amaze the four men, who have never seen anything like it before. They walk down the Great Highway, the only road leading directly to the Castle of Duplovia. They can see it raised gloriously in the distance, ringing the grand Mount Duplus. As the Heroes take in the beauty, they hear an orchestra playing the gorgeous Duplovian anthem, boasting of the country's resilience bravery, and victory. Through the massive doors of the Northern Gate comes an entourage adored in reds and white. The Delfrin anthem takes over, and it becomes clear who the newcomers are. The celebrations reach their grandest point, and the Heroes are swept away by the beauty and elegance of the occasion. The Delfrin anthem reaches its final note, suspended in a beautiful close. Suddenly, an arrow fires through the air, striking one of the Delfrin soldiers. Assassin! Take cover! Heroes, stand back! The Delfrin archers take position as arrows continue to fly at them. They release a massive volley up at the arch where the arrows come from. After several tense minutes, the archers drop their bows and return to their position in the march. Apologies for that, Quellir. If you want to investigate the crime scene, feel free to. Either way, we have a schedule to keep. I understand. Aves, go with the Delfrin group. They'll need the cover if any more assassins get wise. Sir! Heroes. We have a choice. We can investigate the bridge like the captain said, or we can continue forward with the convoy. I leave the choice to you. Quote
-obelix- Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 "Is there any schedule we need to keep with your king, Quellir? If we are not in a hurry, I say we do a quick investigation of the bridge area..." Quote
The Legonater Posted April 26, 2013 Author Posted April 26, 2013 We don't run on any timetable. From what I heard, you boys took a detour to Newharbour? So its really not a problem. Quote
Brickington Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 "Let's investigate!" Sir Brickington got a closer look at the bridge. Quote
