Nerwen looks around at Crook and Xander, assessing their readiness for conflict, if it came to that.

Can we get the latest party profiles please? I think the previous on was more than ten pages ago.

We have a situation. I told Greely about what was going on, and he went into a panic. I told him to stay calm and try to resolve it peacefully, but he wouldn't listen. He's gone off to tell everywhere in the inn. He's going to create chaos. I tried to get Jacob and Christen to help deal with it, but they've gone.

I turn to Ecatsue.

We need to finish this as soon as possible and go. I'm going to try and stop Greely. Anyone who wants to help can come, but I think at least one person should remain here. How I wish Hoke were here right now...

Posted

Dyric, Cronk thinks all friends should stay here for now. If dragon loses control party will need to be at full strength to contain destruction.

Cronk does not see how situation with Greely that Dyric created would require that strength instead.

Posted

Oh, is there a man transforming into a dragon down there, too? Cronk thinks safest thing at this point is for other guests to evacuate building anyway. Any with sense will do just that.

Cronk thinks best way to help is containing dragon. If Dyric wants to oversee evacuation, Dyric can but Cronk plans on staying here for time being.

Posted

Greely isn't going to have them evacuated, he'll have them barricaded inside. He told me so himself. Even if Ecatsue here brought any danger to us - which I'm still not confident he does - letting Greely create a mad chaos isn't going to help anyone. While I do believe Ecatsue needs to be monitored, I think this is also important.

If no one wishes to come, that is fine by me. If Ecatsue does become dangerous, he will easily be the larger threat.

Posted

Dyric.

Nerwen says quietly, but firmly,

Listen to Cronk, he is wise. Whatever Greely is doing will work itself out. Our place is here, I see that now. Stay and we will face this together.

Posted

...I will differ to your combined wisdom and judgement, but I still feel the panic below will potentially lead to a danger of its own.

We continue to watch Ecatsue.

Posted

More flames erupt from Ecastue's mouth and are promptly put out by the dragonlings. Ecastue looks up at the heroes, his eyes gleaming a bright green.

8665260485_49f8cbf328_t.jpg

"Heroes, you must go now. I don't think I will be able to control what will happen in the oncoming moments. The dragons might be able to stop any lasting damage to the inn, but I doubt they can keep you from being injured."

Shall the heroes stay or depart from the room?

Posted

Nerwen channels ether into the gem at the top of her staff, making it shine and glow with a bluish light.

Both Cronk and I wield the power to heal. Fear not for us.

Posted

Alright, we're heading out now. Again, I'll try to check in when I can, but in the event that I can't, party decisions are left to Cronk (CorneliusMurdock). Sorry again for any inconvenience.

Posted

Friends will try to help little dragons with containment. A lot of good beings live in building, it would be shame if Inn burnt down.

As friend Nerwen said, party can heal as well. If Ecatsue thinks that party can make transition smoother let friends know how.

Party will stay.

OoC: Shouldn't my Natural Respite have restored my HP from the previous battle?

"It might be a good idea to down the Forest Dragonling as soon as possible; as for the other targets, I'm not sure...."

Attacking mountain dragonling is too dangerous. Cronk can counterstrike it in four rounds. Cronk will need to heal self in that time but it is doable.

Dyric can assassinate any of the dragonlings (or briefly KO) but party should try to keep Ecatsue alive. If friends can carefully get Ecatsue to low enough health, Cronk might be able to knock man-dragon out with countering.

What does Nerwen think?

Posted

We will certainly need your counter-striking abilities, with the dragonlings taking side against us.

We should also take out the forest dragonling quickly to prevent it healing the others. Perhaps I should do that since I am less likely to cause it to heal.

I will keep thinking...

Posted (edited)

Nerwen fishes around in her satchel for the Pixie Dust

I thought I had been given the Pixie Dust and Double Rainbow?

Dyric you are lucky, you should try your hand at one of the dragonlings, it does not really matter which one, as long as it is not the mountain or forest dragonlings.

Xander, perhaps now would be a good time for some Seventh Heaven? You would still get to attack. Perhaps take out the forest dragonling? With luck you will favour them and will then be able to take out each dragonling with one hit, if Dyric has not assassinated them.

Cronk, someone needs to keep Ecatsue busy, since he cannot hit very hard at the moment, your armour is better turned toward those flying pests. I will keep on him for now, you pick your favourite flavour of dragonling.

As for order Dyric, you should go last, so that if you do assassinate any dragonlings, it will not mess up the order of hits or free hits. As long as someone targets the tundra dragonling and Cronk is first in the battle order, he will still counterstrike the mountain dragonling. Unless it is dead already, which would also be fine.

Question for QM. Can we use a Phoenix essence on a dead(assassinated?) Ecatsue to revive him?

Finding what she thinks is the drug recovered from Crube,

Nerwen snorts the Pixie Dust

When her vision clears

Nerwen attacks Ecatsue from the front row with her Mourning Star.

Also, not to be picky, but that you seem to be the kind of QM who likes details correct, it should probably be Plains Dragonling not Planes dragonling, unless you're thinking of this Dragon
