Blacktron Army Rising

Classic Blacktron I was always one of my favorite Space themes, and you've done righteously by it, I'd say! I especially like the fact that you decided to use the Blacktron I color scheme for the vehicles.

I sprayed a few more pieces so now I have a whole team of these guys, waiting for the things to fully cure. Now I just have to paint the white goggles dark bley, probably do that tomorrow.

I'm kinda bummed because I ordered a bunch of pieces to build a few hardsuits but the seller said he didn't have the inverted brackets in his inventory anymore. Now I have to wait until I find someone else who has enough of them. At least he had a bunch of ADU soldiers and aliens for 1.80 each :)

It's looking pretty good. The touch of purple looks pretty good. BTW, I've recently found another absolute gem for Blacktron MOCcing: the CMF paintball guy. The paintball gun works great as a raygun and the helmet is pretty darn perfect.

I scraped off the purple since, I just hadn't removed it yet I like the color stripe for other characters, it's just kinda weird on these troops.

Haven't seen the paintball guy's gear in person, I want to get a better look at the helmet because it does look cool for something space related.

If anyone has the paintball guy, please post a pic of the helmet on a Blacktron fig :]

Started building a Mobile Railgun. There is tons of empty space inside truck, a minifigure can stand inside if they aren't wearing a neck accessory. The rear half will probably be filled with generators and greebly-type things, parts of the railgun itself.

If you have any ideas for the railgun design please post them!

How to mount it on the truck though?... lol

Remove one of the cheese slopes and use a semi-illegal connection to mount two onto beams on the sides of the truck. Dual cannons are always better .

How about using six of those, connecting them and using them as one giant weapon? That sounds crazy enough for...well, anything.

Had to make an ATV before I went to sleep >_<

I like it, the rear has empty space with studs to mount all sorts of weapons. It's kinda Batman-ish, but whatever lol

I like your blacktron army very much, Henchmen4hire. Good job on painting the minifigure pieces. The galaxy patrol armor in black is a great idea for blacktron. Maybe I'll try that to, but I think I will make a mold of the armor and cast it, because I don't want my galaxy patrol guys to be incomplete. I love blacktron figures with those Epaulettes/shoulder pieces. I only wish they would not be so expensive on bricklink. Maybe I need to cast those too.

Your vehicle designs are very cool too. My favorite is the rail gun truck. I'm looking forward to see this beast in reality. Keep up the good work. When everything is ready, our blacktron troops should unite to rule the galaxy.

The front part of the ATV is pretty sleek, and you've managed to do that with some pretty basic parts. Overall, great MOC .

Not sure how expensive GP figs are where you live, but it may be cheaper to simply buy more of them than make resin casts. Let us know how it goes anyway!

Also, yes, I know the pictures suck, I don't have any room or proper lights to take good pictures, meh.

The rocket-launcher things are ideas I got just from random internet searches, otherwise I would have showcased them more lol. The purple death ray machine is all mine though B)
