Posted April 21, 201311 yr Hello everybody! This is my first topic, so please correct me if is something incorrect, does mean if I wrong posted or something like this. My favourite set is 9397, so I would like to show you my MOC inspired on this set up. My first creation based on 9397 was a tipper (dump) truck with trailer fully remoted control Dimensions of a truck: length-50 cm width-16 cm height-20 cm Dimensions of a trailer: length-44 cm width-12 cm height-16 cm I used to: 4 x PF M motor 2 x PF IR receiver 2 x PF IR remote cntrol 1 x PF battery box 1 x PF extention wire I now, that a steering is too fast, (I used knobs instead gears), but it was my first step in serious construction :) Gallery at BS Edited April 21, 201311 yr by legosamigos

April 21, 201311 yr Nice MOC! Not all Americans had that "Southern twang" accent in 1975! C.W. McCall's "Convoy" song was a big hit back then, and your Kenworth model looks much like the real thing:
April 21, 201311 yr Author I only based on 9397 set. Of course I changed some details, like the doors and "longnose". There are more the liftarms. 9397 set has a lot of gaps in the mask
April 21, 201311 yr Author This looks awesome! Looks like 2-3000 parts? It`s quite possible. I didn`t account
April 21, 201311 yr Hi, Excellent work. I like the trailer and the colour scheme. The only way to better it would be to add suspension. H
April 21, 201311 yr Welcome to Eurobricks! I like it! It looks very realisitic! Edited April 21, 201311 yr by nxtstep101
April 21, 201311 yr Author Hi, Excellent work. I like the trailer and the colour scheme. The only way to better it would be to add suspension. H This truck is demolished long long time ago and I don`t have shock absorbers
April 22, 201311 yr There is no doubt you can build a good big dump truck from Technic so lets have a flagship TLG!
April 22, 201311 yr @legosamigos your trucks and trailers all look very cool. I am somewhat jealous about that huge parts investment. All those wheels and tires alone. Very impressive. The only thing I need to mention is, that all your trucks look very similar, but I guess that comes with building longnose trucks. Anyway, pretty good work. Looking at the upload dates, it is hard to believe they have gone unnoticed until now.

Looking at the upload dates, it is hard to believe they have gone unnoticed until now. Thank You. Well, they are similar, it`s true, because I like these trucks very much. When I was a child, I dreamed to sit inside this truck and drive. A cab is the same, I change only vehicle use Next model will be in May, probably
April 22, 201311 yr I am also jealous of the parts you have. Did you buy more than one model of 9397? It was something I was hoping to get myself. Those wheels are something I must get also. Keep them coming. H
April 22, 201311 yr Author Well, my colleague has some shop with Lego parts In Poland (it is like ebay) and always I have some discount :) I bought the parts earlier and now I rebuild my models. I`ve got only one real 9397 Edited April 22, 201311 yr by legosamigos
April 23, 201311 yr If you use eZthumbs to batch-resize your pics, you can post them here in bigger size (800x600). I would love to see more, but browsing BrickShelf manually is a pain:-)
