Uhm... There are so many things wrong with this, I wouldn't even know how many.

Plus the fact that he willingly came out makes me very reluctant to vote for Krup!

I really don't think that clears him in any way, considering he basically had to.

I'm curious why you think using the Potato Message system is 'ballsy'? You can bet the Evil Alien Odor Eaters are using it, or something similar. Wouldn't it be wise for the OotP to use it to their advantage, too?

At that point, few people actually had any leads and it was basically idle chit-chat everywhere. And judging from what Krup allegedly wrote, he wasn't really PMing anything useful either. I think it's too soon to actually trust somebody enough to build up a close collaboration...unless soemone is an Odor Eater, of course, in which case they know who's town.

I gotta say, nothing you said before actually stroke me as scummy, until you wrote this. This reads like a mixture of roleplay and ad hominem, and is a strange way to defend oneself.

At the moment, I don't see anyone acting scummy. Lot's of accusations, but none of them have much support. For now, I'll vote: Lulu Pittoolo, for adding the least to us here. If she shows up and talks, I'll reconsider.

It is best that we lynch though, and things are spread out already. I could vote for dillpickle. He might talk like Shakespeare, but that isn't helpful. The only reason I don't, is because he was willing to throw an accusation, and that seemed not scumming, even if it was misguided.

I had a busy day, reading Magizoology books and so on. I'll have to read back on Dillpickle, as I haven't learned any names yet, but if he really accused someone, he did more than most people so far...

If you are going to shoot in the dark, you shoot in the general direction the noise is coming from, not randomly. I should know, I get many a burglar trying to steal my famous creams and naughty books. Did I perhaps hit a nerve with my vote, and you thoughtlessly voted? And I'm sure you'd know, dumb reasons for votes that is.

At this point I don't really care which one of you is lynched, as long as it isn't me. I know I'm a member of the Order of the Penis, but I can't say the same about any of you.

But I have to pick someone to vote, so I'm going to start with the one who is the biggest liability.

Vote: Flabflom Flimflam

Voting for people because of their roleplaying personality is stupid. And if we were to do so, there's plenty of people around here than a cow that can't count.

I don't care what fraction of the day had passed, we obviiously have diffrent definitions of the word "beginning". You want to start a misguided lynch on that, go ahead.

I consider myself active because I'm talking and helpful because I was turning the conversation away from weiners and gender confusion and back towards the crisis at hand. Perhaps you don't see it that way, but I do. We can have a difference of opinion without either of us being scum.

I do find it odd how focused you are on me. Just go ahead and ignore any other converasation going on. I don't know what to say to convince you of my innocnence. If you can't see it, it's your loss.

I'm confused at how PMing is ballsy or scummy at this point. Is there some new rule that says PMs are forbidden until day 2? How is someone talking in private a solid lead?

Krup's words confuse me as well. Why admit to doing something wrong when it wasn't wrong? How did you "take it too far"? Maybe you can explain this misplaced guilt.

I'm as innocent as I can be,

This whole PMing lead seems like hooey.

I never said I wanted to lynch you based on the interpretation of the beginning. And I'd really call it a bit too early to speak about a lynch. I voted for you. No one else has. Why are you so defensive? Are you hiding something?

I don't think you did that (steering the conversation away from wieners and all that good stuff), and even if you think you did, how? We really didn't have a lot of useful conversation (useful for catching Odor Eaters, perhaps useful in other ways *snicker*). If you didn't actually help, the most you'd get to call yourself is almost helpful. Active is irrelevant. If you say a lot, it doesn't mean you actually say a lot, if you know what I mean.

I don't think I am at all focussed on you, I am merely continuing my early suspicion, and I have no reason yet to let go. I still think I might very well have placed my first vote right.

PMing so early is a little odd, I think. Usually it is slightly less odd, because people know each other a bit, and that bit of info it makes sense. But if you randomly start chatting to certain people before anything has really happened, and you know none of us have ever met each other (despite leaving in the same street, odd), it is odd to PM. Nothing worth being lynched over as the sole reason, but it is something to take into account. To completely ignore it seems careless, especially since we have very, very little to go on, at this point. Perhaps it would be less odd if he PM'ed everyone, but that didn't happen.

Oink, oink! Oink!

Do you have any real reason to vote for her or is this just a random vote? Because it sounds like one to me.

Oink! Oink!

By the way, earlier, in private, Krup asked me for my opinion on three people: Godric and Drubulum. At that point, I didn't have an opinion on either. Worth mentioning, I thought.

I know the rule, what happened was a mistake. I think you are jumping on something that isn't indicative of my allegiance at all to cast your vote. This situation is not about finding the most competent Penis. Why don't you focus on finding someone scummy instead?

Or maybe this explains it:

Great attitude. :sceptic: Odor Eaters don't care who is lynched, as long as it's not them. Penises must care and can't lynch randomly. Why else would be bother discussing this stuff?

Just to clear it up, Ariattny sent me a potato message at the start of Day 1 asking for my real identity. I mean I am Durmudgelous Krup. It is a bit of a tongue-twister, but there you go.

---

For the record, I sent 5 potato messages to 5 randomly selected furballs (Ariattny excluded).

All the 5 potato messages were of similar content and structure:

Part 1 - A reference was made to whatever that furball said during the first 24 hours

Part 2 - A suggestion was made to cooperate to save Harriet

Since it is Day 1 and we have nothing to talk about, 3/5 furballs responded with an in-game character-type-of response, which was a good read.

1/5 furball made a suggestion to me that I should adopt a certain strategy to oust the Odor Eaters (seriously?)

1/5 furball (Twatty) was suspicious of me and asked me what I wanted to know at this early stage.

Part of me wants to agree with Twatty that it is weird that early, but then again, it does sort of seem like a good idea to send out random messages to see what sticks.

Also, if we voted based on mathematical ability, nobody could vote for me. That would be stupid. Anyway we are slowly running out of time for the day. I sort of want to vote for Lulu just because she has been seemingly silent, but then again also vote for Flabflom just because you have the most votes, but that's only because of a weird penalty these Alien Gods people keep talking about gave you.

While I understand Godric (he has been going on about this "Odor Eaters can't count thing" before, so it seems he's hell-bent for lynching Ariattny), I wonder about Drubulum. Sure, he's said nothing useful so far, but it seems he hasn't said anything for a long time. So why would he need an opinion on him? Can you clarify that, Krup?

Sorry, can't quote you, Krup. Squeak!

Because I have the most votes? Because of a mistake that doesn't even make it more likely that I am be a Penis Eater? Can you think of a better justification for this? Am I required to speak in questions? At this precise time when discussion finally seems to be going somewhere, your suggesting 'default' votes is certainly not very helpful. I wasn't saying I am voting for you. It's just one of those thoughts of what happens of the vote is split?

Helena, I want to apologize to you. You sounded ever so slightly scummy before, but now there are several who seem way scummier.

Unvote: Helena Hippopaw

For now I am going to leave it at that. I'd like to hear more from the individuals concerned before voting again. Godric's vote seems so random, Snarky's comment about not caring who dies is very non-Penis-like (not necessarily scum, perhaps Neutral?). Krup's defense is poor.

True, but I find it odd that you focus on weak leads when more interesting discussion is ongoing. Also we're not about to run out of time so your concern sounded like you were trying to justify a hasty vote.
