What was this, a simple game?

I'm kind of surprised you guys used a framer. That's a pretty advanced role for a school game, in my opinion. Then again, I used lovers in Mafia School: FABULAND Housewives.

It was definitely the most advanced element in the game and the kids figured it out without destroying everything in the process, so that's just one more success for them.

Wow, I got lucky! On night 5 I was framed AND investigated, but clanure was blocked by Bobby. Thanks for saving my bacon there you traitorous Mesa scum!

And just curious, why was Alison throwing around protection on non-scum at the end? Just in case we had any abilities left, or because she knew it didn't matter since we had no vig? I assume her earlier protection of loyals was to confuse any investigation/tracking/etc?

You had geniuses play this game, that's for sure. Well, mostly... :look:

Thanks all for this great game, the comics are fantastic   I will try one more Mafia School and to be more active in it :classic:

Because I wanted to be in a position to claim doctor. And because it didn't matter once the vig was gone.

I want to thank Shadows and Darkdragon for hosting....and all the players that I had fun watching after I was expelled on the first day.

This award means so much....

What's that? I failed? Expelled the first day...yes.....penalty....yes. Well, let me bring back Bud to say one more thing.

I told you! I told you you'd lose if you kicked me out. Muhahahaha. Hey, stop putting that there. That REALLY HURTS

-Bud

As for how I really feel. I was forced to go to You Tube and find a link for the Katamari Fail screen. Enjoy

Right, so it was just in case we had any way to verify anything you'd said?

Yes, exactly. But then I lied to excuse the night kill on PsyKater and accommodate Tamamono's claimed doctor targets and you caught me out.

Also, Purpearljellyblob was irritatingly savvy. Blocking our night kill three times, having a bee in her bonnet about me... it was frustrating at times.

First of, congrats to the entire Black Mesa team, we did it!

Thanks to our hosts for the opportunity and excellent comics. The players were great too. I am really glad that on my first Mafia game experience I got to be in a Scum team, but I would like to try out being on the other side next time... On a side note, I had a really hard time trying to balance out Chuckie's personality and participation. "Dark. Brooding. Metal.", while fitting his Framer role perfectly, doesn't mix well with a talkative Townie, but criticism accepted, and I'll try next time! :classic:

Thank you everyone for a fun experience, good time and above all, a great game!

Yep, the town would have been royally screwed without Brian's info. Fantastic work for the good guys there!

AHHHH!! We're done?

Lucy(Esurient), excellent job. I never once suspected you as scum. Bob(Hammerstein) was on my list very early, but I could never get anyone else to follow me. Allison(jamesn), I was 75/25 on your side until I was able to figure out your lie on the doctor. I had too much info from Tamamono and I'm sure you knew you were caught at that point as well. Purpearljellyblob was a great asset as well, I just wish I could have gotten more info out of her. She probably never fully trusted me. The Frame destroyed any sort of credibility and I really didn't think there would be such a role in this game. I had followed some previous regular games so I knew what the role was, just didn't think we would have one, similar to the Serial Killer everyone was infatuated with.

Hinckley - I originally screwed up, I posted something that I thought was in PM because I was going back and forth between the two. But after I did it, the idea popped in my head, If we can't get votes for Allison, we'll get them for me!! The plan was to then tie me up with Badboy and we'd save us both from the lynch, but then the day voting ended early and it didn't matter. So, you're half right, I initially screwed up, but the plan was then quickly in place to do what you thought we were doing, it was just kind of accidental. Good to hear it was an unprecedented move, though. That makes me feel good.

I hope nobody thought I was a dick. I went after people hard because I was trying to ruffle some feathers and see who would snap first. Unfortunately, those that did were all town, and suspected me of being scum.

Jamesn - Since Nemo(simone) was never named to you, did you guys get lucky? Or was it an educated guess on the frame? I read pm's and the thread, and it was kind of obvious that those 2 were out targets for the lynch and investigation. Good job there, it really screwed us up for several days until Brian got the blocks correct on Shawna. The kill continually being handed down was frustrating (though I totally understand why it would hand down)

Faculty - Thank you so much for letting me play, I look forward to many more games and matching up with Hinckley, because after his role as the hedgehog in the Heartlake game, he is my hero. :cry_happy:

I consider myself 100% right on this point. You're my new hero. Thank you for pulling such a ballsy move.

Works for me. Hell, I was just hoping that the faculty wouldn't mod-kill me for it.

And seriously, was this about the longest game in EB Mafia history? The faculty had to be sitting there thinking "Is this G%* Damn game ever going to end?"

Eurodina.

And at first we used to let game days run for a week and there was no set schedule. Night would last until a host remembered they were hosting a game. Yes, I believe there have been much longer games. Hosting and presentation is on an awesome and concise timeline nowadays.

DAmmit! Hinck beat me to it. Eurodina went 14 days. But it also started with 30 players. Would have been a lot longer, except Zepher started allowing two, and then three lynches per day near the end. A lot of....interesting stuff went on in that game. Including a Town Vig turned Scum Killer turned Neutral Serial Killer, who then outed the entire scum team to the Townies. :hmpf_bad: Believe me, there's nothing like receiving votes with absolutely no justification. "I'm voting for you, defend yourself."

So Hinck's little fiasco at the end of Forest II had a precedent, of sorts.

Oh man it is over, we lost... damn you Lucy (great played) I had in my thoughts when we had an conversation (Me, Claire, Mary-Jane and Lucy) this last night with PMs about how to proceed, what if one of us are scum, then everything would be blown. One was, oh well it didn´t matter when there was 3 scum left and the game was over then.

Good playing, Great hosting Darkdragon and Shadows, I had fun. Lets do it again

I know Godfather is considered normal, but I think it's a much more challenging role to deal with as town than Framer. With a Framer, it doesn't take that long to figure out if one exists. With Godfather, it basically comes down to the end of the game when there are no other options left. It's suprising that both were used in this game.

Most players really impressed me. I thought Hammerstein town told on day 2 when he said this:

Speculation about the number of scum seems a bit pointless to me there must be at least 2, a killer and a framer (at least judging by the look of the strip) but who knows exactly how many?

I didn't think a scum would confuse the idea of a killer and a framer in a Mafia School game, so it took me a while to start changing my thinking on him.

I was sad to see LegoDad back off on things in midgame when his attempted town leadership wasn't working out. I really felt like he was working hard for town. I might've done the same thing if all my buddies were getting killed, though.

Well played, scum!

My defense that time was that you asked me about Captain Nemo before you told me you were in league with the investigator. I managed to get lots of stuff not to stick to me until the very end, but I was afraid you'd see through that because I made it clear I had thought you were the investigator the whole time. I thought I was affecting the investigation target and I told my scum buddies all about what happened in PM with you.

We were incredibly lucky night killing Bob as early as we did.

Until blocks started coming through, I thought we were close to the endgame. That's why I started oozing scum (or that's what I thought) on Day Four or so.

Also, LegoDad, we blocked you for the first three nights because I was the only scum who believed your vanilla claim.

Looking at the night action sheet, I was targeted quite frequently by those that had actions, on both sides. I suppose it comes with the territory of being vocal. My only regret was giving up Andrew so quickly, but I was blinded by being so pissed off because I was sure that I had been lied to. It wasn't until later in the day that it was getting figured out that something had gone afoul and we were getting messed with, but the damage was done, and Andrew was rendered useless, unfortunately.

This was a very entertaining game to watch! The presentation was excellent and it was great to observe a new set of players participating. Mostlytechnic and Psykater, I was really rooting for you and hoping you'd pull off a town victory, but the Black Mesa did well at staying just out of suspicion to secure the victory, good job any way.
