Mostlytechnic and Psykater, I was really rooting for you and hoping you'd pull off a town victory, but the Black Mesa did well at staying just out of suspicion to secure the victory, good job any way.

Agreed. I was happy to see a couple of very active townies working hard in the day threads, but the scum just decimated during the night....congratulations to both teams.

I absolutely loved the setting, too.

AHHHH!! We're done?

Lucy(Esurient), excellent job. I never once suspected you as scum. Bob(Hammerstein) was on my list very early, but I could never get anyone else to follow me. Allison(jamesn), I was 75/25 on your side until I was able to figure out your lie on the doctor. I had too much info from Tamamono and I'm sure you knew you were caught at that point as well. Purpearljellyblob was a great asset as well, I just wish I could have gotten more info out of her. She probably never fully trusted me. The Frame destroyed any sort of credibility and I really didn't think there would be such a role in this game. I had followed some previous regular games so I knew what the role was, just didn't think we would have one, similar to the Serial Killer everyone was infatuated with.

Hinckley - I originally screwed up, I posted something that I thought was in PM because I was going back and forth between the two. But after I did it, the idea popped in my head, If we can't get votes for Allison, we'll get them for me!! The plan was to then tie me up with Badboy and we'd save us both from the lynch, but then the day voting ended early and it didn't matter. So, you're half right, I initially screwed up, but the plan was then quickly in place to do what you thought we were doing, it was just kind of accidental. Good to hear it was an unprecedented move, though. That makes me feel good.

I hope nobody thought I was a dick. I went after people hard because I was trying to ruffle some feathers and see who would snap first. Unfortunately, those that did were all town, and suspected me of being scum.

Oh, just have to comment on that :sweet:

Yea I thought that you were a dick in the beginning until day 4 and 5, oh man I could had just killed you, Andrew(clanure) and Cameron (tamamono) but after, when I got over my fustration on the town cores actions and you guys quiet down a bit, it become clear that you guys were town.

Once again great playing.

And to the hosts, the comics were great and funny. The best comic moments were, all Lord Dragonsworths "kuku" behaviour, but my favorite was Mr. Shadeaux janitor bots taking out Ricky(brickington), too bad they were not used more :devil:

Cave here again. Legal keeps telling me not to use these official notifications now that the testing

has reached a successful conclusion. Using them anyway, I like them. Not sure I'll ever be able to

post without them again. Or in my normal voice.

Now some of you seemed to appreciate a glimpse into the inner workings of America's best applied

sciences company, and who could blame you? Exciting stuff happening here. So never fear, you

can't keep good science down, Aperture will return. I already have the Psychological Testing Division

developing a new set of tests. They made me promise I wouldn't make announcements or interfere

in any way and I was glad to do it. Not sure why they keep falling for that. My company, my rules.

Probably fire the lot of them just before the testing resumes. Think I'll replace them with those kids.

Keep watching this space. Well, not this specific space, just space in general. Fascinating stuff out

there. As for the next test, it'll probably take until the fall to organize. Bean counters said we

couldn't afford to run another too soon, those $60 payments to the participants really eat up the

budget. What? Didn't get your $60? Sure you did, probably just spent it and don't remember.

Oh, and I hear you. More turrets. Count on it. Adorable.

Cave out.

Good job, scum! I hard-townread both Esurient and jamesn, so definitely superb job there.

Good job to mostlytechnic/purpearljellyblob/LegoDad for being such a great town block as well. Sorry for mislynching so much early on and making your job harder.

And finally, thank you, DD and Shadows, for hosting this great game!

Comments from Ms. Dragonsworth: Even though you were only playing a short time, I was very impressed with your activity level. I would have loved to see you make it through at least a couple days, but besides being smart at the start of Day 1 and frightening the scum, you were also a metagame target for them. You stayed fairly active in the dead zone, and it shows that you followed the game which is always nice for a host to see.

Comments from Mr. Shadeaux: You made those scummy Black Mesa types tremble in their frilly pink training bras. Then you died. You did me proud, son.

Grade: Passed

Recommendation: Keep playing! Remember to participate and hopefully the town won't night kill you like normal.

You guys really do love me! I liked this game, mostly because for the first time ever in a mafia game ever I was seen as the prime target for metagaming. I felt honored. Other then that, I loved the presentation and the idea and I wish I could have kept on playing. :cry_sad:

And at first we used to let game days run for a week and there was no set schedule. Night would last until a host remembered they were hosting a game. Yes, I believe there have been much longer games. Hosting and presentation is on an awesome and concise timeline nowadays.

We're not supposed to host our games that way anymore? Oops.

Beautiful hosting job! One of the difficult things hosting here is hosts always want to up their game, putting pressure on the rest :cry_sad: Great for all the players though

And the students had me baffled as to who was telling the truth. Nice job

Congratulations to all! I really enjoyed this game and loved the comics. Thank you Shadows and Darkdragon for all your comments and hosting this game! Ultimately, I am still new to this, and since science is all about experimentation and learning, I will continue to participate!

Great work team! Jamesn, Hammerstein, -obelix-, Fred and Jedi !!

It was sad to see Brickington go. I guess the scum would have agreed to keep you till the end.

Have fun and keep playing!

Congratulations scum team, and even the town team! This was incredibly exciting to watch, and I actually was thinking Esurient and Hammerstein seemed slightly scummy in the beginning, but they both did a great job. There were some amazing players in here, especially for the first time. Esurient, I would watch how you post in the beginning. I've noticed your posts are an itty bit scummy in the beginning, and I was suspicious of you here and in the bloodbath back in October. And don't worry, plenty of us, including myself, being lynched first twice, need to work on that as well. Other than that, you were fantastic!

Great job everyone! I really had fun! Although I must say I narrowly escaped death on Night 4! Thanks Shadows and Darkdragon for hosting such an amazing game! And thanks for all the comments! The comics and the setup were great!

Also, Purpearljellyblob was irritatingly savvy. Blocking our night kill three times, having a bee in her bonnet about me... it was frustrating at times.

I knew it in my gut there's something irregular about your posts and activity. And it turns out to be right .

Yep, the town would have been royally screwed without Brian's info. Fantastic work for the good guys there!

The Town did great, not just me alone. We did unite eventually but I guess the scum had the upper hand by then and it was all too late. :sceptic::wink:

Go Claire (legodad)! It was a truly noble thing to sacrifice yourself to save Jeanie (badboytje88)!

Darkdragon, I'll probably be more active on the next mafia I'm in, I'm let out of school pretty soon. I don't have to go through mafia school again, do I... :look:

(real school)

On a side note, I had a really hard time trying to balance out Chuckie's personality and participation.

The reason that we made all the personality sections very short (a few words like yours up to a whole sentence) and not detailed were to give you the leeway take the character on in any way you felt comfortable. Since those were written separately from the roles or the player assignment, we wanted to make sure that it wouldn't affect the game in anyway. It can be difficult, especially in your first game, to work in personality traits which is why they were not a requirement but more for flavour and fun.

We're not supposed to host our games that way anymore? Oops.

The clock. It. Never. Moves!
