Can't say I'm surprised. :sceptic: Three innocent penises, still in the night. I agree with the general concept us that 'Toasty' there is our SK, while the Odor Eaters are the ones turning people stiff. A little annoyed to see Krup still around and making useless comments - well, at least he's just wrong today, rather than unhelpful, I guess...? - but I suppose not killing anyone was a better choice overall for the vig last night.

Nevertheless, unless someone comes forward with some sort of helpful revolution, my vote today is going with Krup.

Beyond which, I struggle to determine a right course of action that certainty would provide. Were Regelious killed by SK or by Odor Eater, and Flabflom killed by the opposite, I fail to see the gain of knowing. Either killer must be dealt with. Were one of them to have been tracked, by hidden spy under light of moon, then they wouldst claim vig regardless.

On the canary, thine information bequeaths us with the opium of those who wouldst see folly with the thought that Flabflom was indeed be'stiffened not by thine vigilante nor by killer serial, but the blackness of Odor Eater, as well as that dear Snoot was discovered 'ere morning dead not by hand of vig nor Eater - nay, by killer serial did he meet his moste untimely end!

...What? He talks funny. My point is, it's interesting to see what people think of the situation, the best example of which seems to be Krup, given that his opinion on who kiled who differs wildly from everyone else's because he's so self-impotent he thinks the night actions revolve around him.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not established that Wong's action was a one-shot? I believe there was a whole commotion yesterday about how he "wasted it" so early in the game, wasn't there?

I believe 'twas assumed, yet if Wong declared it as such, I have missed it.

Erm, if I understand you ok here I'm gonna assume you mean it doesn't matter who the killers are because we need to stop both of them right? Because if thats what your saying then I agree with that if their the scum and SK, but we might have a vigilant so one of the kills might be by a townie.

We are harmoniously agreed then. Tis also my belief, that shouldst a tracker or their ilk come forth with news of night, casting ill implication upon one of our brethren here amongst us, said individual would immediately claim vigilante.

I have no information with which to bequeath truth upon thy statement, yet it restates that which is my iterpretation.

I am of mixed emotion. As with thee, Krup has perpetuated in my mind that which caused his suspicion ere today, yet Wong's intentional act of avoiding Krup with his Provocarus Curse despite voting for Krup doth perplex me greatly.

I agree with you there, but because his role is more common townie than it is scummy, I'm inclined to thick Wong just made a dumb call on that one. I could be wrong, but for now I'm leaning towards careless townie on him.

Wong admitted he had used the curse to save his own megablocks; I doubt he was trying to save anyone else than himself.

I can't see this action being assigned to the scum; someone had said yesterday that it made little sense for an OE to have to target himself for a lynch and I tend to agree with this theory.

I don't see how it saves himself; it only somewhat clears him, but it puts himself at risk. Just because he had the curse, does not necessarily mean he is town. I can see easily how it would work as a scum action. It makes the user look town by automatically putting themselves up for risk, which makes it easy for the other person, who could easily be a scummy-appearing townie, lynched, for not being "cleared". I believe it was me who said it made little sense at first, but it actually is starting to make some sense as a scum action. It is very unlikely for it to be an OE action, but it is something that we should be taking into account.

I feel like I am repeating myself here, so to make sure everyone reads this, I am going bold and all caps, oh yeah baby. THE SCUM SHARE THEIR ACTIONS/SPELLS/CURSES. As I said yesterday, dedicated scum gladiator? Improbable. One of the spells they have? Very possible.

Where is it mentioned or implied at all that the OE share their actions? Was it something I missed yesterday, or was it implied when we moved here? But you kind of just agreed with Lulu regardless, saying it is improbable, yet possible.

Five things were mentioned: The good guys had non-transferable spells/curses/whatever, but the bad guys had like a pool of them they could switch out from, I think this was before Harriett and her thunderbutt came here. I meant it's not impossible to have a villainous person with a gladiator action. Obviously not here, with the knowledge of them sharing it, but there you go. At this point, I think it's more likely Wong is telling the truth about his action, and his allegiance with it, but I am also at this point looking at everything he has said and done carefully, which you will get my thoughts over later today.

I had read it thusly, that the mewling elf-skinned haggards known as the Odor Eaters would only be permitted to exchange their actions upon the permanence of death.

The relevant missive is here:

Structure-wise, Town Night Actions will not be passed on, but the Scum will be able to choose which Action they would like to keep when they lose a member. If the game is brought down to one remaining Scum player, that player will be given a kill and a block Action to be able to use both nightly

Chirp, chrip, chirp

What do you mean? Better than who?

Better than Wong. The gladiator is not likely to be a scum role, and even if they are allowed to share their actions (I'm a bit confused about that, are they allowed to or not?) I don't know if they wouldn't prefer to keep it. Would they really waste the action on Wong? If nothing comes up, I don't mind lynching him to find out, but I'd rather avoid doing that.

Hm. I could swear it was worded differently. In that case, I apologize for causing some confusion.

Are you now telling us you suspected Snarky was town yesterday? Because if you did, you essentially forced a lynch on him by envoking and claiming your role, and to do that to someone you thought might be town just to save your own sorry skin is not acting in the best interests of the town. So far you've still not managed to say anything helpful today either.

I didn't suspect he was town. What I was meaning was is that when he refused to fight, he may as well have been town. Believe me, if there was another way to do this, to not have me and Snarky voted for, I would have done it. Now you could say I could have gone for Krup, but I was willing to see what would happen to Krup in the night, and today. It was the one risk I was willing to take.

Damn it, Snarky, why did you have to be so obtuse and unhelpful?

Snarky did have a quite trianglular snoz, but it was more acute than obtuse...

Until such revelation doth appear, or a new one present itself, mine eyes will cast their stony glare upon Krup and Wang agin. Perhaps Wang would be so kind as to clarify if his wand is now spent. Can thou cast the Provocarus Curse again, or are thee now as good as vanilla?

I want to say this has already been covered yesterday, and if not, many are covering it. I will leave it at that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not established that Wong's action was a one-shot? I believe there was a whole commotion yesterday about how he "wasted it" so early in the game, wasn't there?

Like I said to Dillpickle, I will leave it at that.

The Day Vig/SK took out Flabflom basically because he did not even grasp the basic rules of not-editing posts.

Why day vig? What day vig?

I feel like I am repeating myself here, so to make sure everyone reads this, I am going bold and all caps, oh yeah baby. THE SCUM SHARE THEIR ACTIONS/SPELLS/CURSES. As I said yesterday, dedicated scum gladiator? Improbable. One of the spells they have? Very possible.

You, while I'm aware you have corrected this to a certain point, seem insistent on making us consider... heavily, the possibility that Wong is a OE. Is it because you don't want the Penises to have someone to rally around? Spreading confusion and discord? I understand that you were confused, but you were using the information that you thought you had to sow confusion.

Personally, I don't like Dillpickle. I pointed out his bizarre wish-washy vote reasoning yesterday, and he has offered little today of substance.

I will go water my rose garden. If anyone else wants their plants looked into, just tell me!

Someone that I noticed that didn't do much yesterday was Firuz Foxtail. Next to being inactive, he had odd, inconsistent posts. Like this one, for example:

Voting for someone for role-playing seems off to me, given that we were encouraged to so in the very first post of the day:

There are a few people who's "personality quirks" are giving me the shits already (case in point - Dillpickle's Shakespearean insult), but I don't think that necessarily makes them Odor Eaters.

I also think that voting for someone's level of activity isn't particularly helpful. There have been plenty of posts that don't really contribute to us sniffing out those Odor Eaters. What someone is saying is more important than how often they speak. A wise man once said to me, "If you've got nothing useful to add, don't say anything".

This leaves behavior, which is the best we can go on. At this stage, I'm inclined to vote for:

- Godric: for his dumb reason for voting for Ariattny

- Flabflom: because the OotP can't afford mistakes like that

And Ariattny and Durmudgelous since one of them has been lying. Of those two, I'd put Durmudgelous ahead of Ariattny because I am wary of anyone sending out PMs at this stage of the game. How random were they really?

There is still plenty of time left in the day, so I'm happy to hold off on my vote a little longer.

He mentions the idea of voting off Flabflom, who was killed last night and many people didn't assume to be scum yesterday. It seems like he was just following Snarky here with the whole idea of going against Flamflom but after no one else went through with that idea he dropped it. And he dropped his suspicions of Godric, too. Or he hasn't mentioned them again at least.

Between the two, Snarky's behaviour has been more scummier and, despite his earlier behaviour, Wong's claim does feel like its genuine, so I'll:

Vote: Snarky Snickerpuss

This post is also odd to me. I know he was forced to vote for either Snarky or Wong, he seems to have voted for Snarky and never again mention his other suspicions. Also, he just popped in, put in his vote, and left. And we still haven't heard from him since then.

I really weren't sowing any confusion, no one seems to pay attention it, anyhow. Also, in this particular way of doing things, it's still more likely to have a scum gladiator thing than in the way muggles do it. Don't use this to incriminate me.

You could have not used the ablilty you said you used and not forced us all to choose between the two of you. You were in trouble for behaving scummy and getting a penalty, and then you used that to take our choice away. And the reason you didn't choose Krup, who youd said you suspected was scum was because you hoped he'd get killed at night? So it wasn't about saving your skin so much as just getting someone else lynched instead? :sceptic:

I wanna get physical, lets get into physicaaaaaaaal, let me hear your boooody taaaaaaaaaalk! :sing:

To wish. Yea, to dream. To dream a land of peace, where ere we had no such fears as Odor Eaters. That such a land wouldst rise afresh from seas of dark to bring us light. When to dream is to clear one's mind of evil, and to clear one's mind is to wash it, then in such a way I have been wishy washy. As I do wish to wash the Odor Eaters from this place. That death no more shall terrorize our hearts with fear of doom.

As to my voting tendencies and my theories, I do not believe that I have been wishy washy in the least. Mine mind hath been affixed on a multitude of possibilities, yet I have acted with determination and cast my lot with as much confidence of will that day 1 can provide. If thou doth not believe it, then I wouldst ask for explanation that I might answer forthright, setting things at ease, as I didst respond to thine accusations yesterday.

Day Vig? ... were both kills not performed at night ...

Why day vig? What day vig?

The "day" should not be there in the first place. Since I cannot edit it, it has to be left unedited. Hope that clears it up.

Why would the Vig take out Flabflom because he made a mistake and edited a post? The Vig should be focusing on taking out scum and/or neutrals, not punishing stupid Townies. I'd like to give our Vig more credit than that.

Guilty conscience? :look: Why are you so convinced that the kill is intended to frame you when that doesnt dseem to me to be the most obvious conclusion to get to from that? I agree with most people that Flabflom was most likely killed by the scum and Regelius by the SK, seeing as Regelius was so quite yesterday compared to Flabflom and the way he was killed with a toaster doesn't look very odor eaterey to me.

Why won't you accept the facts? Are you trying to confuse us with regards to who killed whom?

Croak! Croooooooooak!

I don't want to insult you, but I think you overestimate your own importance. Regelius was one of the more quiet animals, which makes me think he was killed by a vig/SK. As my Magizoologist book says, the natural enemy of the quiet magical animal is the SK, but vigs also tend to attack them when there is no better prey. There were more vocal animals not voting for you, which would have made better scum targets.

I agree with others that the scum have probably taken out Flabflom.

I am just speculating, since we have no night results to rely on. Yes the scum killer could have taken out Flabflom, the interlude [http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=81700&st=225#entry1574614] yesterday seemed to suggest Flabflom had magical powers, alongside with Gertude & Nicholas. If the scum had anything to depend on who to kill yesterday night, I believe that had to be it. I wouldn't be surprised with Gertude or Nicholas goes tonight, unless the scum has someone better to target. If the vig were to take out Regelius for being quiet, I think Timly is quieter than Regelius. Maybe that is the choice the vig had to make. Timly - out of the 5 posts he had made, only 1 meant something, if not anything.

Holy geez, Bert! What happened while we were on the job site? Seems like a lot of commotion.

343 replies, 6874 views. Yes we can all see that.

Krup, even you have to admit that the way things played out today does not paint you in a good light? I'm not convinced you are scum, but certainly this didn't go well, agreed?

Yes, everyone can see that, but I don't see anything useful in what was said.

Bert and I have to go hammer this out between us, but I'm highly inclined to vote for Krup as well. Bert just keeps telling me to hold off a bit longer. I really wish there were some additional leads. Snarky is rubbing me a bit the wrong way, and so is Wong, but it seems trivial compared to the Durmudgelous Krup fiasco.

Seems to me that you are really taking a long time to make your decision. You were not here until 2 hours before the thread closed when everyone isn't here.

This post was fairly early on and we didn't have much to work with yet. The players mentioned were those that were on my radar at that point in the day. I didn't mention Flabflom and Godric again because they dropped off the radar.

I subsequently voted for Durmudgelous and provided my reasons for that.

This post is also odd to me. I know he was forced to vote for either Snarky or Wong, he seems to have voted for Snarky and never again mention his other suspicions. Also, he just popped in, put in his vote, and left. And we still haven't heard from him since then.

Wong had forced our hand and left us two people to chose from. I followed the subsequent conversations, but felt there wasn't much I could add at this point. There were others who responded similarly to how I did:

Okay. Well, I suppose out of those two I'd have to go for:

Vote: Wong Wang

Unvote: Wong Wang

Vote: Snarky Snickerpuss

sigh

And here I thought Drumudgelous was stupid. This was just a complete waste of a perfectly good action.

That is the weirdest thing.

Vote: Snarky Snickerpuss

Whoah, dindn't see this coming. Well, it doesn't change my opinion on Snarky, and I guess Wong's role claim makes him a likely Penis now, so:

Vote: Snarky Snickerpuss

Of these, Orion did post again a couple of times to talk about Wong and Snarky. However, Godric and Regelius didn't feel a need either to post again later in the day.

I also can't say I'm surprised. I really rather suspected that Snarky was town, mostly because he was thrust into a gladiator competition against a scared townie. I really don't suspect Wong is scum, but I do find him to be extremely unsettling. This is bad.

Anyway, while I still find Krup's actions from yesterday as scummy I'll wait until more things happen today until I see how to place my vote.

I guess my wand has an itchy casting finger.

What I meant was that I did not really suspect Snarky was town. I believed he was scum, or at best a neutral who had an odd win condition, such as possibly being alive by the time the Odor Eaters hope they would win, and they would believe he is the only townie left (yes, odd win condition, I know, but it seriously went on in my head). When Snarky refused to fight us, he could have been telling us that he is town right then and there by not fighting. A scared townie (like I was) or a scum (unless the scum was abandoned by his/her people) would fight back. Yet Snarky did not. So I figured during the night that he was either a scum or a neutral, and his acceptance of the verdict and refusal to challenge us could scream "town" or even "neutral" but did not want to fight. I had six penalty votes against me. He could have easily pointed those out and said "Wong has six penalty votes, claimed his role, used it, and set it on a townie, he has no cards up his sleeve anymore" and could have made a defense around that.

So yes, it is my fault that Snarky died. Do I like that? No. Do we all have a part in it? Yes. We who voted for him did condemn him and his acute snout to death.

It may have been mentioned earlier that we need to look at those who defended Snarky. Yes, we do. But the scum, knowing Snarky was not scum, may have divided their votes in order to hide amongst us better.

Can you tell us why they aren't on your radar anymore? And I know you weren't the only one who responded like that, and I think out of the list of people you posted Godric is another that comes off as sort of unhelpful. And there was also his random vote for Sugarbottom yesterday.

Why would his being thrust into the gladiator position by someone whom you don't suspect make you think he's a scared townie? Was he a scared townie when he posted trash and voted for flappy Walrus man?

You can't vote now anyway, so that last comment is pretty worthless. :sceptic:

By the way, I don't recall you having answered for your less than intelligent vote for the "Girl who can't count" yesterday.
