AT the end of the screen credits the completed Death Star was "featured"

Bill Prady (@BillPrady) tweeted after the show's East Coast airing that the "Lego Death Star was originally in Sheldon's mom ep. When we cut it, the staffers who built it nearly cried." He then added that it "took about a month of staffers using the odd free minute to assemble to 4/5 completion."

This episode's end titles has Chuck Lorre's Vanity Card #364, thanking the show staffers who built the Death Star model out of Lego pieces, followed by a picture of it.

Sheldon: Last night, I was strong-armed into an evening of harp music and spooning with an emotional Amy Farrah Fowler. This on a night that I had originally designated for solving the space-time geometry in higher-spin gravity and building my Lego Death Star. And why? Your gal pals, Penny and Bernadette went out shopping for some wedding nonsense without Amy, an action they took with no thought or regard as to how it would affect me, the future of string theory, or my lego fun time!

Everyone needs Lego fun time!

In the most recent episode of the simpsons, Homer, Bart, and Lisa go to "E4", and there are ads for blocko Angelina button. In the movie "Tower Heist" , Ben Stiller uses Lego to

Make a model of Arthur Shaw's penthouse.

There was a very large LEGO Pudsey bear on Children in Need, it was with the children's choir, possibly the Manchester contingent, I got confused trying to figure out where those without location lables were.

There's a series (actually, a series of series) of books called "The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant" by Stephen R. Donaldson. In the last series the main character, Linden, has adopted a son, Jeremiah, who has been "withdrawn" and completely uncommunicative (as a side effect of what happened in the last series), who "builds" things. Sometimes it's tinker toys, sometimes it's constructs of racetracks... and then he starts building structures of LEGO that look like buildings from what is essentially an alternate world in which Linden is the only living person to have visited. That happens in the first book, and "legos" are mentioned at least once in each of them so far (the fourth book is not yet released).

Of course, this author seems to take pride on being a really knowledgeable word smith, so his use of "legos" is really annoying.

Has anyone mentioned Megafactories:Lego yet?

It was really good and we got to see inside the various factories and the process of how LEGO sets are actually made!

In the Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy movie, Tower Heist, to rob the hotel, Ben Stiller makes a scale model of the room they're trying to rob out of Lego's.

ON the last episode of The Amazing Race, teams went to Legoland in Billund and had to assemble a little puzzle thing out of printed bricks while riding the teacups, or whatever they're called there. I'd have preferred they spent more time there, but they were in and out pretty quick.

If I recall correctly on one season of the "Bachelorette". They went on a date to Legoland CA. Also on the Disney show "That's so Raven" Raven's brother Cory had several of the original Bionicles in his room.

EDIT: Also currently running on Disney Channel are transitional animations (that happen between shows and commercials)one shows a farm with brick-built cows and a UFO the other is a stop motion build of a micro-scale city each is five or six seconds long.

I saw a TV ad for KFC in Australia slaming McDonalds scorcher berger saying that they cut the chicken down and peice it back together. They show us this on the ad by using Lego like building blocks of a chicken being deconstructed them put back together. You can check it out with this link

Its not exactly Lego but I get that warm feeling inside when I watch it.

On the Simpsons tonight, Lisa went into a Blockko store, and there were references to Pharoh's Quest and Alien Conquest. "We do the imagining for you.", says the salesperson.

I know this is quite the bump...

On Saturday the 21st, on National Geographic "Ultimate Factories" is doing another LEGO one.

Thanks for the heads up! I wonder if this is the same one that was on Youtube from the UK, it mentions the police station, so I suspect it might be. I've set my DVR to record, can't wait.

I saw this tonight as well and laughed pretty good! They even had a "pick-a-brick" wall in the last scene. I don't know what it would be called in the BLOCKO name though; "Wall-o-Block" maybe?
