So, i finished the buggy in my earlier post, and made

I also uploaded a few more photos to bricklink:

I also have decided on what i want it to be; a toyota hilux (year 1983 maybe)

If you have any good ideas for bodywork etc, please let me know! I want it to look better than my first trial hilux:

Looks like a solid chassis. How did you get your motors to work so well on rough terrain?

@timslegos a low gear ratio gives it good offroads, as well as sturdy gear mounts reduce friction. I used a different IR receiver for each rc motor for more power.

I love it. I like when it goes over the soil. Look forward to more pictures and videos.

So, i did some more work on it and here are some photos of the grill/front bumper and hood. The wheel arches could be improved, and i decided to do a grey/black scheme instead.

Hello, I am finishing up the bodywork, and I think i will go with no rear bed, but a rollcage instead:

Body on frame, looking good. How do you embed a video into the post?

I try embedding it by copying embed code:

(<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gtcr8hznKBU?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gtcr8hznKBU?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gtcr8hznKBU?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>)

And then once I do that i click the special BB code button, select HTML code and insert this code. It shows the video to me, then won't show it when i post it... it just disappears.

@ 1nxtmonster and Someonenamedjon: To imbed a YouTube video into your Eurobricks post, just copy the URL and paste it DIRECTLY into your message (without using any prefixes like [ media ] or anything like that). You will have to make sure that all extraneous text is stripped-off of the URL, so it is in a simplified, standard format. Here is an example on what to do with the video that 1nxtmonster tried to post; I'm inserting a space after the initial "http://" and "www" in the text below so that you can see all of the text string without it getting shortened.

Here is the Initial URL when looking at it on YouTube: [https:// www. youtube.com/watch?v=Gtcr8hznKBU ]. . If you copy/paste that string (without the space after the https:// or www) into Eurobricks, it won't work because it must be http:// and NOT https:// . If you get rid of the "s", it will look like this: http:// www. youtube.com/watch?v=Gtcr8hznKBU . Again, in this example, I inserted a space after the http:// and www only so you can see the full text string. Once I remove the spaces, the HTML will hyperlink it and create your link. If you "Preview" your post, you can tell if Eurobricks successfully displays your video window; if not, you did something wrong. Here is the video once the "s" and spaces are removed from the example above:

Sometimes, people post videos that start with Youtu.be or something like that. The standard format should be as shown above. If the format of your URL is not youtube.com/watch?v=ABCDEFGH123, then it probably won't work. In his post above, Timslegos successfully copied/pasted the YouTube URL as http:// www. youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Gtcr8hznKBU , but I just strip off all the extra text to simplify it to the simple, basic text string above. Sometimes the URL has size information, etc. -- strip that all out. Every YouTube video has a unique 11-character letter/number code -- get to the format http:// www . youtube.com/water?v=ABCDEFGH123 and it will work for you.

I think i should take my words back, it seems that the gearbox is strong enough for 2 buggy motors.

I like chassis, but the front of the bodywork doesent look like toyota hilux. :S

Looks promising. I suspect you eliminated the current limiter in the battery box.

What are the overall gear ratios for each gear in your transmission?

@AndyCW Thank you! Stock battery box, a few issues with overload but not many if seperate reciver per each motor. The final ratio in low gear is 1:15 and the final ratio in high gear is 1:3, so a quite large speed difference, i might want to do a third gear sometime...
