It is not easy to copy - Derfel Cadarn -

It is not easy to copy Derfel, but you've done a wonderful job capturing the right look. Love the little building, and the scene you've created, but the rock the house is built on seems a bit too uniform. Maybe have a bulge here and there that stick out a bit further, and taper away more gradually.

Great MOC! It is a very hard task to copy DC, but you managed to do pretty well. The house is the centerpiece, but the tree and landscape is great as well. Keep it up!

Wow! Great work! I love the house! The little garden is great too!

Great build. I love the little details. The stonework looks really good on the house and I love the uniformity of the windows. That is a neat build technique I'd like to see more of.

The only thing I'd want to see changed is the landscaping. Not necessarily grassier, but just more texture of some kind to help "flesh" it out.

Otherwise, great build. Keep up the great work.

Nice colors and textures. I also think you did a good job with the landscape.

You should avoid saying you would like to "copy" DC, just incorporate some of his techniques to your own style. The photos are also nicely in focus and you have a nice clean backdrop! Bravo! Some better lighting and angles could really kick this up a level.
