Is there any chance that TLG will get the UCS B-Wing back in stock? And would a LEGO store have the promo fig and poster?

And would a LEGO store have the promo fig and poster?

Lego stores will carry the promo figure and poster. I'm sure supplies will be somewhat limited.

For 50% off, I'm interested and then I realized it's the B-wing... not my favorite ship, so I'm on the fence.

Its back up on Lego Shop at Home with the ship date of 16 May. Here are your second chances people, get it while it is still available.

Just got back from the local Lego store. Seems they had a number of B-wing sets - I think I saw at least eight copies during my time there. Everytime the shelf space ran out, someone would bring out more; though the shelf space was only loaded with two copies at a time. Probably 1/3 of those buying SW sets in the store had a B-wing. I ended up cashing in some VIP points and bought the R2, as I just couldn't pull the trigger on the B-wing. There was nothing else I really needed anyway...

Happy Day! I asked nicely and got the last B Wing from the storeroom of my local Lego store. That price was just too good to pass up. If you don't see any out, ask. Sometimes they still have some squirreled away. I think my store manager was trying to trickle them out throughout the day so they didn't all get grabbed within minutes.

I really hope that the speed and ferocity with which the long shelf warming B Wing sold out at this price gets TLG to take a closer look at there UCS set pricing to maybe find. Slightly lower sweet spot.

Just picked up my B-Wing. I look at it as a huge gray parts pack. I'll build it once to see if I can pick up any tricks or techniques, then it will become custom fodder for my Millenium Falcon.

I don't think the price was as much of an issue as it not being a hugely popular ship. It just isn't that interesting to want a UCS of it. Same problem with the Jedi Starfighter. Bo-ring.

I agree. I had no interest in the B-wing. But for so many pieces for $100 it was a no-brainer. Also I was a bit lucky. I could careless about a poster. I got the Han Solo and the Republic Frigate with my UCS B-wing.

Hi

What happen if you place today two different orders above 55€? Will you get two times the promo fig?

Dino

I placed several orders during last years sale at the same time as I thought I needed to keep the costs of individual shipments down due to customs (turns out I don't need to do this) - anyway I ended up getting the promotion minifig and tiny tie-fighter in each shipment... That was last year though and in NZ - no idea if it's still like that (this year I made just one big shipment).

Though I do think it looks very cool once built, I'm in the same boat with you on the rest of your perspective. Seems an easy buy if even just for the parts. A set I wouldn't be getting if not for the sale.

My local LEGO store sold out in about 30 minutes! Employees running back and forth from the shelf to the back room in an attempt to keep up.

Hi

Hint for anybody that is just keen for the promofig:

I got the fig in my cart anytime i the value was higher 55€ and ONE SW item was in - did not matter what value this item had. Even a Keyring fig worked plus e.g. an Architecture Set.

Another crappy deal direct from Lego. Unless it's one of the few that are only sold there (or mostly only sold their) there are always better values elsewhere. And a Han Solo minifigure isn't unique enough for me to care :P.

What is so crappy that you feel you need to write a post? But good for you that the Han Solo minifig isn´t unique enough so you don´t have to care!

Been off of Eurobricks for a bit due to an extended work trip. Got back a few days ago and was happy to pick up the B-Wing from S@H at 50% off. Didn't get excited about all the other discounted sets but I can never complain about a sale from LEGO.

On a separate note, I live in Italy but I have a USA Mailing address. My employer ships my mail from the USA to where I work here in Italy. So I will be able to help out a few Eurobrickers with the discounted B-Wing if interested. I plan on taking my son to Celebration Europe II in July so if you're attending, I'll be able to do a face to face transaction there.

As of this posting, the B-Wing is on back-order with the USA S@H, shipping in 30 days. Don't know how long that will last. Send me a pm if interested.

Not sure how long the B-Wing lasted but 3-hours after I posted, LEGO was still taking orders. When I checked a lot later in the evening (9-hours to be exact), it was Sold Out once again.

Anyone who ordered multiple times on the 4th/5th should check to see if your promotional items were cancelled or not. I just spoke to LEGO because one of mine had been cancelled and they explained that if you ordered multiple times, they would only give you 1 or 2 promotional items, regardless if you placed 5 orders so as to make sure everyone got one. However, they still have some left in stock so you can ask them to be reattached back to your order as mine just were.

Hope this helps someone!

Out of curiosity I did a search for the B-Wing on Lego.com this morning. Found the thumbnail and noticed it was back to "Out of Stock with a ship date of May 20th" rather than just "Out of Stock." So I clicked on it and got this error page: http://shop.lego.com...arfighter-10227

Funny graphic, but odd I thought. So I searched for the set number again and now when you search for B-Wing it doesn't come up at all...for the USA site. I must have been searching at the right time the 1st time to catch the image of the thumbnail before it was updated and removed altogether.

It does however list every other country's page for 10227 and OUCH!...$350 Australia!?!?

I completed my order for the B Wing about 10 minutes into the sale and just received a notice that I am on backorder. Pooodooo....

Bah! Same here. I have no doubt that they'll fill each and every order, though, so I don't mind waiting.
