Yooha Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I have a theory about "why people don't visit the Historica forum". But beware, the theory is very facepalm-ish! Even I'm a Eurobricks member for years, when I visited the castle forum, and saw "Guilds of Historica", I always thought "okay, that's the LEGO medieval boradgame section, I'm not interested. Get it? Heroica-Historica! I do hope I'm the only one who is so silly to confuse the two words. But what if I'm not? UPDATE: I just read the first post. Okay, so it is an excisting symptom. Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Yes- I totally wondered that. At this point though, the name is here to stay, so I guess we just have to go with education and shameless promotion!! Quote
Dr Rod Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Guilds of Historica is really just a background fictional world in which to build MOCS and it is nice to make something that in some way contributes to the development of that world. That is all it means to me, it is not about winning competitons but encouranging building and development of building skills. Come join us Nocurnites!!! Dr Rod Quote
Str0ngbad Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I originally thought it was some kind of forum version of the board game myself. I'm so glad you 'shamelessly promoeted' it Z or I would still be under that impression! Seriously, join Nocturnus! I will take all the Mitgardian allies I can get but Nocturnus has a fantastic style and is shorter on members. I want someone to pick up the mantle of the vile dark elves so badly... Just go look at the builds, make a few comments and get a feel for what is going on in there. I know a lot of you would enjoy the community that they have fostered. Quote
