Posted May 3, 201311 yr I've been working on this redesign for a while, this theme for years: Wait till you see how it opens! There are cannons under the cheeks ....you cant see them here :( Or Here Hrmmm... I did want them somewhat hidden, but when you see them, they really do look awesome tucked in there! I amazed I made it work so cleanly here... watch this: Two Doors, he can egress from above or to the back! That's his Seat! Next the controls! Bonus the LDD file: http://www.brickshel...an_commando.lxf And a really nice LDD Scene: (you can see the cannons here) http://www.brickshel...ando_scene1.png Thanks for checking it out, I'm kind of pleased with how it came out :D Edited May 3, 201311 yr by Rayskull
May 3, 201311 yr That is really, really cool. I like how compact it appears, and how it packs a lot of curve into a boxy shape. And DAT HATCH.
May 3, 201311 yr Very cool, it's definitely eye-catching. I kinda want to make a helmet with that ship's design.
May 3, 201311 yr Author Thanks guys, I'd like a helmet like that too :) I built the hinges last, it was very much a puzzle. I always build compact because I'm a perfectionist on a budget, haha
May 3, 201311 yr Pretty good engineering. I'd change at least some of the tr. blue to tr. red though.
May 3, 201311 yr This is just great! I love skulls (duh), and sci-fi, so this is right up my alley. Good job on the smooth design, too.
May 3, 201311 yr Author My smallest ship at the Grim Outpost Pretty good engineering. I'd change at least some of the tr. blue to tr. red though. Thanks, these aren't the 3vil Space Skulls but I'm sure I was originally inspired in part by 3vil, I've always had a thing for Skulls and Blue. I call them the Grim Guardians of the Galaxy!
