Holodoc Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Anyone from Germany that could look into this for me & RAS :'-)? If you ask me (and you indirectly did :-P ), I understand the offer as follows: "Saving Price 50 EuropeSave even more travelling to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Italy (not all destinations), Luxembourg, Netherlands ans Switzerland (only station operated by SBB and BLS). In the above mentioned countries you can use the Saving Price 50 Europe offer. With this offer you can get reduction of 50% on the regular price and up to an 50% rabate if you travel together (for the 2nd and 5th person)." If you travel FROM Germany TO Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Switzerland you can use the "Saving price 50 Europe". That will allow you to reduce the price FOR THE SECOND AND FIFTH PERSON accompanying you. "With the BahnCard 25 you can get a further 25% reduction on German Railways" On GERMAN railways you need to have the BahnCard. X-O If you order via Internet they of course show you the savings button for all those people having the BahnCard. The German Railways NEVER give you a 50% discount for about nothing (own experience). *sad* That are my impressions. If you want to be absolutely sure you should go and ask someone at your local travel agency. I checked your route: You mentioned Frankfurt, but you are traveling via Stuttgart Airport, arent you? Be aware that you choose the right airport station then (they let you choose from STR StuttgartAirport and Flughafen/Airport Stuttgart, Leinfelden-Echterdingen - don Quote

Holodoc Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 this is the timetable and it says 28 euro per person, one way, 1.20 hour... sounds doable... not sure how much a taxi would costfrom what i just saw, there is sturttgart Haubtbahnhof, which is the main airport, and then there seems to be another one, linked to the train station... I still have to figure out what is where... Sorry sne, but "Hauptbahnhof" mains central railway station. ;-) You will have to get to Stuttgart Central Station by suburban railway S2 or S3 as can be seen here. It Quote
