Well what I ended up doing was buying three of them. One I'll keep and open, and I'm selling two in a few years. I really hope it goes well, it's a big gamble on my part, but I think it'll be worth it. With my luck I'll get a gold 3PO in one of those sets that I sell :-P I might try the scale thing afterall with those ;-)

How will you know if those sets have the Golden One :-P !!!

Unless..........You OPEN THEM :-P !

I can't do that :'-( Though the temptation will be great. I actually am considering bringing all of them to a really accurate scale to weigh, and open the heaviest :-$

Does anyone what the box art looks like?

-ZotS

Not that i know of. I can't wait to see the size of it!! The box i mean.

Starwars4J.

You might have to open them if the certificate is inside the box. Some buyers will want to see a photo of that when you come to sell.

Hm, in that case I'll set up that arrangement with the buyer to do so before shipping, but after the sale. I'm just worried opening the box would really decrease their value, so I'd rather just wait for them to ask.

I ordered a few days after it was released. I had to call LEGO and ask when they drew the money from my account, and when I heard that it wasn

I voted : Nope. I really like it but that's way too much...

You didn't knew I do like some LEGO starwars sets did you? *vader*

500 euros, is way too expensive for me, it's even more expensive that the Imperial Star destroyer!

Have a nice day,

Mr Tiber

As I have mentioned on previous posts, I have 2 on order, which 4J and I have discussed the idea of buying him one more, that is me paying for it of course. :-P The only thing I am wondering is if it will be too big to fit on the Cloud City landing base. *wacko*

...

Just make a bigger cloud city MOC ;-)

...

Do you think that version will be cheaper then this one? The shipping will be a killer :'-( so one better find it in stores!

A couple months before Christmas, TLC almost always has free shipping on orders of 100 USD or more. That's when i make my big online orders. ;-)

Dunno if that's the same in europe though.

LOL! That's a great idea. :-)

Ok,

I voted that i'll pick it up once all the hype has died down.

Which'll probably be in about 3 years :'-( when i'm done with college and working as an engineer.

Hopefully it'll still be available like the UCS ISD or i may have to buy one from 4J.

Hey 4J will you offer a Eurobricks member discount? :-)

Sure, free brick separators for everyone! :-P

Teasing, I don't know yet since it's still a ways away, but I'll probably give some sort of discount/bonus :-)

Mabe Commander Xalax Maybe I hope so! *alien*

Wait til the hype is down. Maybe it cost less then $500(USA)

I don't know about that though.

When UCS ISD came out, it was lower when it first came out in the US then went up to 300 USD.

I don't think it was a collectors edition or anything though.

So according to my speculation, the non-collector's version after all the hype is gone will be the same.

Shouldn't go higher in price though, because of the brick-count. (1 brick= 0.10 USD in general)

There was no way i was going to miss this awesome set. *wub* now for that long wait :-/ I do hope lego ship them early, i once got a set that was back-ordered a month early, so here's hoping X-D

i don't think it will come early because the set gets released on october the first so it won't come before :-( :-(

though i haven't even ordered it because it's to expensive, but it is second on my wish list, after a drum kit ;-)

i want to buy three, one to display, one for parts and one to sell in a few years one lego stops making them, if i can stop myself opening it for that long, which i don't think is possible.

Pre-ordered sets are almost always shipped before the original "ship by" date.

As so many others - I'd LOVE to buy it but it's just way to expensive for me being a student...

I do own the first MF released which took me a lot of my pocket money back then but that is way to much as I have to finance a car soon :'-)

No, dose it have any mini figs?

I manly like the mini figs :-D

Have you missed all the pictures in all the threads about this thing? :-|

No, dose it have any mini figs?

I manly like the mini figs :-D

Which brings up the inevitable question: Is there a manly way to like minifigs?

To answer your question, the Falcon comes with EP4-style minifigs of Han, Chewy, Leia, Obi-Wan and a curiously long-haired Luke.

It is a lot of money, and I don't want to spend that much. It would also take a lot of patience and concentration, which is something I lack. It has a lot of grey pieces, and would be really hard. I like system sets beter.
