Toltomeja Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) This creation was built primarily for LugPol's contest - "Building Better Worlds". Challenge two was to depict some mechanism working. Here it is: a medieval water mill building, with the wheel propelled by flowing stream of real water. To see it best, feel free to watch the film: Flickr Gallery Enjoy! soccerkid6 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 An excellent medieval house, the texture in the stone work is excellent and the working water wheel is a great detail I like how you built the little wooden section to direct the water onto the wheel as well Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Great work, indeed, Toltomeja! It's not very often I see LEGO mixed with actual water. You did a wonderful job detailing the mill and surrounding landscape. Good luck in the contest Quote
Infernum Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 This is super cool! I love the action, and it looks great even without it! Nice job! Quote
Doctor_ocks Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Cool! Did you house a water pump in the house? Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Very nice. I like the idea of incorporating real water to move the wheel. Quote
Bighappysmiles Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Whoa, I love how you made the water look so realistic! You should really make a tutorial about making such good looking water! That is very cool! I really think that adding real water to MOCs could be amazing! Especially if it was a huge waterfall fountain thing! Quote
