I love what you did with the stage coach. The original did look greatly over sized compared to the minifigures and thanks for the instructions on how to modify it I will definitely be doing this to mine.

Excellent modification! It turned out smartly! Separate gratitude for the provided instruction! I on it already collected the option of a stagecoach!

Thank you very much for the instructions, this new improved model I have in front of me is much better and I have spare parts for the start of another!

Oh, and well done Mifody I like the yellow-- have you tried any other colour? Dark green, dark blue..? (hint hint). And don't bother about apologising about your English, it's not bad at all- better than my second language.

This is a really great mod. I'd decided not to get the set because it was so over-sized, and it had never crossed my mind that it could be corrected so stylishly and easily. Now I'm not sure I can stop myself getting it - it's a stage coach made of Lego after all! I'll hold out till I can get it on sale. Thanks KDM, and Mifody, for your impressive work. Now I just need someone to put up some instructions on how to make Lex's aircraft from the Batman II game ....

The mod looks great! I purchased the stagecoach just recently, because it is one of the most aesthetically pleasing sets Lego has ever put out (at this price range...lol). I was a little bothered by the size initially, but I think in some ways, similar to your review photos, we can make fun of the disproportionality, because it's often something Lego has never really been good at. Nevertheless, I have tried to make some of the minor modifications to get the body lower a bit, but decided overall to keep the original build. I believe there was a reason for the unusually tall height, and it is to keep the front wheels from hitting the side of stagecoach especially during the sharp turns. I love the suspension and the front wheel mechanisms, because it increases maneuverability and thus playability for kids who tend to drive wheeled vehicles very fast (but obviously not for a stagecoach!), so I actually would sacrifice the disproportions to keep the wheel mechanism. However, this could have been fixed if smaller wheel diameters were used, just like how you suggested nicely. At the same time, I actually prefer the larger wheels because they are one of the iconic features that I find appealing on stagecoaches. If you look at some of the photos of real stagecoaches, the wheels are massive! All in all, the stagecoach (both the original and mods) look great. I prefer the original probably because it IS preferably larger in many ways, and it better captures the structure, technology, and details of the classic stagecoach , so it really stands out when it is put on display even with the tiny horses. Despite that, I love your modifications!

Hey there fellow brickfans. I need your help. Please, help me identify the element below the wheel base elements... (I have finally ordered the stage coach and am gathering parts for this mod). Of course, I mean the element displayed in the instruction(additional parts needed)
