Lawngnome Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Nah, you're not alone, irispen... toy or not, having no exterior aside from the superlaser dish really detracts from the looks, and it doesn't help that the minifigs are mostly old-style. A lot of other big sets I've reluctantly had to pass, but the DS never had any pull to me at all, even when I could've gotten one at 20% off retail price. Really, all I wanted from the set was Tarkin, more specifically his torso. And maybe the black protocol droid, but everything else is only good for spare parts as far as I'm concerned. (Can't wait for the Doctor Who hairpieces to come out in the aftermarket, those are a perfect replacement for Tarkin's rather bland default hair.) Quote
