This is my entry to the 4th Global Challenge at LCC. My objective was to rebuild Deviet's Fort Vharenfell

Fort Vharenfell is getting attacked by the Loreesi, and Paul von Brickenstein is defending it, to help the Garhim allies.

Wow! ! Great work! The build is great and the posing is perfect! I love the tree! The border is great! Great work! :classic::thumbup:

Although the tittle made me think this was a D-Day MOC, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how well this was done. Nice Job!

I really like your snow work, and it's great to see another builder that uses flesh minifigs!

Great MOC! Perfect posing on the minifigures, and I  your tree and the snow.

Really nice work   I like in particularly the snow's effect

Gorgeous diorama! Your version of Deviet's fort is spot-on, and I really like the Loreesi D-Day ships!

Great scene overall! Are those boats inspired by Robin Hood?

Thanks for your motivating comments ! I am glad you like it, even if it is a little bit bloody.

Are those boats inspired by Robin Hood?

These are D-Day inspired. I was looking at these allied landing ships in some WW-II-MOCs, and then I thought about making that medieval. First I had some difficulties to make them look like I wanted, but finally I think they turned out well, looking better in real life than on the picture. Gonna use some once more I think.

The Robin Hood movie's boats were inspired by WWII as well, so it is not surprising the come out similar...

I really like the overall image, especially the warmaschine on the top tower, and I have only a few comments or question:

- the defenders on the shore seem a little suicidal, since there is no possible retreat for them. Is this intended?

- the Viking people look a little out of place among the otherwise fairly uniform defenders (btw. I like the uniforms!). Are they the Garim? Sorry, I am not familiar with the story...

- since this is D-Day inspired, what about some barricades on the shore (wooden instead of steel)? Would it be too crowded then?

If you would know the whole story, all of your questions would solve themselves. But well I gonna answer them for you.

- Retreat is no option, the Lenfel (dark green) are brave warriors. They dont have losses and they dont take flight. Maybe because these are supposed to be my knights. I am the one standing in the middle of the dark green knights.

- The Garhim (dark blue, viking) are off to war themselves. It is just a lucky coincidence that my character was in the lands of Garheim. Long story...

- That is a really good idea. Maybe I will do that in an other MOC, this time I wanted to show a missive amount on troops on a small beach. But I will come back to that.

Whoa! That is amazing! Good job!

Awesome build, very crisp and dark.

If this is D-Day inspired, does that mean Lenfels are ... Nazis?

Definitely not !!!

Awesome, you can really see the D-Day inspiration. And the landscaping with the snow is great!

Nice work! a lot of great details.

great moc! lots of details, love the minifigs!

Great work again ! Your builds are lovely... Ich habe noch keine MOCs von dir für Avalonia gesehen, wirds da mal was geben in der (nicht allzu fernen) Zukunft?

P.s. Viel Erfolg beim Umzug !
