legosamigos Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I do not know what to say, but it is cute and functional. Very cool you gave the appearance of the car Quote
Lost_In_Noise Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Congrats on TLCB feature Sheepo. You sure deserve it! Quote
Meatman Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Dare I say this is the best technic car ever done by anyone? I love Caterhams. Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Wow! Incredible beautiful model. I especially like the curves you made with the ribbed hoses. They work really well. I'm not that big a fan of stacked beams, but I do like the unibody frame. Do you have extra diagonals or reinforcements in the frontside of the car to prevent the parallellogram from skewing? Quote
Lipko Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Dare I say this is the best technic car ever done by anyone? I love Caterhams. I dare to say otherwise. I will put some negativeness here, but the Land Rover is much better in my opinion. Not that this model is not great, but the Land Rover was more balanced IMHO. For me, this kind of body-filling works on sqare cars, not really on curved ones. Apart from the improved gearbox, it doesn't intruduce much more than we have already seen from Sheepo. A fair amount of envy talked. Quote
Splat Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Great work Sheepo I really like the steering geometry at the front, and everything else too. Quote
Sheepo Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Do you have extra diagonals or reinforcements in the frontside of the car to prevent the parallellogram from skewing? Good question, under the front axle there are some liftarms to get enougth strong in the paralelogram to keep it intact. Quote

I guess that I should have probably said the best in this heavy part usage style of Technic building. My comment wasn't really fair to the talented guys who build in a more traditional style. For that I must apologize. Edited May 14, 2013 by Meatman Quote
