I swear that that part was on PAB up until recently. Maybe it was part of that old-part batch, I don't know?

Was that helmet part of a flower set? Or was it only in purple or so? I don't recall it. Maybe there is a newer design ID.

Nah, that's the bicorne hat, available in magenta and purple.

Speaking of which, I'm actually going to buy some orange epaulets, that magenta bicorne, a red pair of pants and a certain teal Ninjago torso for use as a psychedelic pirate captain. (Think like the Beatles outfits from the cover of the Sgt. Pepper album.)

There will a new pirate minifigure in the upcoming CMF series 27. A "quartermaster"

Heard this exact same rumour online.
 A Wolfpack beastmaster too apparently.

Good stuff. Although I’m still hoping for a future dedicated Pirate only CMF series. And Castle too for that matter. D&D CMF series doesn’t count for the latter, I want a dedicated Castle themed CMF series with yellow skin, featuring Catle factions. Eagerly awaiting the Quartermaster CMF though, should be good.

Please not :pir-grin:

At least the minifigs should have no yellow neckline, so the torso could be used for fleshies as well.

Yes yellow.
I abhor flesh heads in non licensed sets.

Perhaps the Quartermaster will be an updated Steve? I’ve always thought of him as a merchant based on Imperial Trading Post, but Quartermaster would make sense for the version in Skull’s Eye Schooner.

The new Jabba's Sail Barge has a minifigure with an interesting head piece:

One on the top right has a bandana wrapped around his head. I see potential if LEGO recolour the green top part yellow, could do well for a fellow scallywag. :pir-huzzah2:

Looks like we are getting a female quartermaster with a new cookatoo. Nice aqua torso with printed brown legs. The black hair with red bonnet is a nice touch. Cannot tell if the torso has hip curves or not. If not, could be a great torso for males as well.

michael_bricks_f0rever on Instagram. Just the group shot, and it's blurry, but you can see a decent amount.

Thank you!

The cockatoo looks great. I guess the bird shows up at PAB eventually? Also the steampunk inventor in the back looks interesting (from what i can tell by the blurry picture).

CMF parts are not often on PAB unless they're in regular sets. We've yet to see the falcon from series 24 in either a set or PAB. Same for the hornbill from series 22.

Generally the CMF minifigs looks pretty boring again. A bunch of city minifigs and a castle army builder. Have to wait for better pictures but as of now the steampunk inventor is the only interesting minifig. If we are lucky he comes with a vest and jacket that works for a merchant or an other civilian.

Matt Hooper's hair & hat combo is up at PAB online. Surprisingly the price is great with just 50c for a dual molded piece. Would the piece work for a historic sailor? The ID is 6504271.

It would work for a late 19th - early 20th century sailor. In other words, the crew of the Endurance:wink:

It would work for any sailor/pirate I think, afteral beanies were very common sailor wear in the period. They didnt wear Cocked hats or bandanas as were let to believe.
