To add: The Arielle/Ariel set I've mentioned above is 43225, about 1.800 pieces according to Brickset. There are no official images as of this moment, thus I cannot link to anything, but it should be easy enough to google the set number and "leak". (It's the picture with the huge clam shell.)

Quoting myself because now there's pics:

43225.png?format=webply&fit=bounds&quali

- two kinds of mermaids (Triton with the old straight tail, everyone else with the new curved tail)

- fish in several unusual colours

- the wrecked ship in the bottom left corner would make a nice addition to any beach or cove, I'd think

No pictures yet, but the Artic Explorer ship (60368) is going to have a molded Orca which will be a fine addition to any pirate layout!

The smaller set is said to have two seals, I believe.

I had a bit of doubt if seals were native to the tropics, but it seems like there was one: Caribbean monk seal. Sadly it's extinct now...

Good to know! I didn't even know they existed!

Good thing pirates operated outside of West Indies too. :pir-wink:

That's a shame because I agree that the brown looks better.

Surprisingly Mr Tiber I actually noticed this about 2 and a half years ago when Captain Krag's boat was released. :-P

It's in the old brown in 5986 Amazib Ancient Ruins, i have one

I don't even remember what I was referring to - after all, I only made that post... 16 years ago! :pir-grin:

So i was browsing through the Dreamzzz sets and the 71455 Grimkeeper the Cage Monster has a barred prison cell door. Is that a new element or does it exist already? I was a little bit sad i kept none of the classic prison cell doors from my childhood, so seeing a new one is great!

I believe this exact door in Pearl Dark Grey is in production since 2013, so yeah, it's been around for quite some time :pir-grin:

Don't you have 21322? There's definitely one included + the barred piece in the same colour without the stud handle.

No, i don't have 21322 :pir-sceptic: At the time i was still relatively fresh out of my dark ages and was discovering all the things i missed. I never knew something like modular buildings existed. Or i bought the fright train which was my first ever Lego train. So everything was new to me and i was not interested in a particular theme.

NO-o-o, dude, that's unfortunate :pirate-sad Hopefully you'll be able to get yourself a fine deal on that one someday 🙏🏻

The summer wave of City has been revealed.

There is a large turtle mould and a new colour for the stingray in the 60377 Seaforesting Boat set, and a wreckage with both the smaller sharks and the larger shark in 60379 Research Submarine. And the orca in the 60368 Arctic Research Ship of course.

The Monkie Kid set 80049 Dragon of the East Palace has a new Flame Yellowish Orange recolor of the marine life accessory pack (which includes angelfish, seahorse, sea snail, scallop, clam, sea star, and octopus pieces)!

The Friends set 41745 Autumn's Stable has a new Reddish Brown recolor of the stable door, which I'm sure could have nautical uses.

And the City set 60380 City Center has the 1x4x3 half-arches from the Lion Knight's Castle set recolored in Dark Orange and Brick Yellow, which I suppose could be useful either for architectural details or for the "ribs" of a ship (though a darker shade like Reddish Brown or Dark Brown would probably be preferable for the latter).

How nice of Lego to provide some missing pieces for my future museum.

First look at the Dreamzzz sharkship:

It seems that the ship may have a sail.

Here's a pic courtesy of StoneWars. The ship does look pretty cool, but I'm not sure how much use it'll be for a pirates display, unless your pirates really embrace the supernatural.

The "teeth" decoration on the bow is neat. I expect it to be a sticker, though.

EDIT: Set number is 71469 (Nightmare Shark Ship).  LEGO-Dreamzzz-71469-Albtraum-Haischiff-1
