Sandy Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Ellaria shakes her head in frustration, and looks at Atramor. "We have no other choice but to follow the accursed script. Atters, I think this is your cue. I'm a little uncertain as to what we're supposed to do, but it seems that the Duchess - that is, Althior, poisoned the Duke, myself. Now you must cast her... err, Althior... out and take your position as the king. Or am I totally mistaken?" Quote
CMP Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 "If my actions were 'erased and perverted'? Hmph. I hoped for that not too long ago...then I came back to my usual logic concernin' regret. There's nothin' you can do about the damn past. Ya' get over it and move on, somethin' you, apparently, ain't learned yet. You've had, what, centuries? and yet here we are, still puttin' on a play of the false version of things. There's a point, mate, when ya' have to realize, ya' have no other choice but to give up. There's no point in tryin' to blot this out. It's spread too far now. Forget about tryin' to set things straight, ya' hardly deserve that anyway. I cast ya' out, ya' rottin', treacherous, soul-eatin' bitch, to die powerless and alone. We'll make sure of it." Quote
Zepher Posted June 15, 2013 Author Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) The woman merely laughs and points to the Duke. "What are you casting him out for? Come, Althior, do what you must do. Be powerful as you are, and let the weaker beings cower in your might. Make the choice they cannot. Kill the innocent for your own gain." Edited June 15, 2013 by Zepher Quote
CMP Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I was talking to her...now I'm really confused. Atramor stares, and turns to Althior, gripping the Pheles Rod with determination. His glare is enough to get the message across. Quote
K-Nut Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) I have absolutely no Idea what to do here. "Ugh, This is Madness!" "No, Finnegan. This is theater," Althior raises his wand, slowly, pointing it at the Duke. He sits here for a moment, thinking as nothing happens. All eyes are on him. He looks directly at Florence. "I am nothing like you. Nobody here has any gain from his death except you. And why on Olegia would I ever help you?" He puts his wand down. Edited June 15, 2013 by K-Nut Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Tesni shrugged. "My part ended a while back. Though, sorry to suggest this. Ellaria would be our duke wouldn't she?" Tesni turned to the druid, a conflicted expression on her face. "We'll have to cast you out At least there are no ghosty daggers about..." Quote
Zepher Posted June 15, 2013 Author Posted June 15, 2013 Alright, fine I'll give you guys a hint, even though this is essentially the same puzzle as before. All eyes turn to Ellaria, the 'Duke'. The heroes try to remember how the Duke met his downfall in the play, and as they do so, a huge vial of poison, ghostly like the dagger before it, appears in the air in front of them. Who will poison the Duke? Quote
K-Nut Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 D'oh. "I- I'm..." Althior grabs the poison and has Ellaria drink it. There was no other way. "I'm so sorry..." Quote
Zepher Posted June 15, 2013 Author Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) "And the powerful shows his face." Althior watches with sad eyes as Ellaria falls to the ground. He wheels at the old woman and steps forward. There is no longer a barrier. "Now, you wish to cast me out? So be it." The fallen Duke gets back up and stands beside Morgon Florence. A ghostly vision of the King, still 'played' by Johnny, appears behind them. "You forget, heroes, that in the real events, I retained the loyalty of all. I am the Queen of this story. I am the Queen of Rats." [En garde! We stand beside you, heroes!] "We sort of have to, at this point.] Suddenly, little beams of energy shoot out of the General, Duke, and King's chests. They ram into the heroes who 'played their parts', all of whom stagger back, except Ellaria who remains on the ground. Peppermint_M Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 So, who do I kill? In the presence of such enemies Tesni's weapons spoke out to be used. Dryw lit with holy light, fighting the purple glow of Cysgodion. Mellt iced over and crackled with electricity, the flames of Fàelàn not affecting the unnatural ice in the slightest. So many enemies and each weapon well suited to something. The elemental glow was a sight to behold, certainly intimidating. (I hope maybe?) Quote

Peppermint_M Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 It was odd, she had not been hit at all and yet her energy, her power was draining away.
