The North Tower

The North Tower defends the Omurtag Gate. From the height of the wall archers can shoot the enemy through crenels. There are even more room for soldiers on the top.

The top floor can be accessed via a ladder.

End of shift.

I built a digital version of the Omurtag Gate to put it next to the North Tower. Due to some limitation in LDD, it has some small difference from the brick-built one.

Looks good! And seeing that last picture, someone should try to replicate some of the Valholl Mocs and put them together so we can see them as a whole!

Looking good, especially from the inside with all the sections put together. From the outside it looks a bit strange to me that the tower isn't farther out than the rest of the wall, which should make it more suited to both defending the wall and the gate.

I really like how you put different depth to the walls, depth adds a lot to builds, especially something made of stone that's rather monotone

Cool tower, the top level is great I agree with Gideon that having the tower stick out farther than the normal wall would make sense though. Nice that you did an interior and the tower fits nicely with the other sections

Nice build. I really like the roofing and the side detail/depth of the builds. They are incorporated really well together. The crenelations are a nice touch, but I'd almost expect a tower to be even taller to help keep that bird's eye view of everything.

After building I realised that it doesn't stand out from he wall, but checking the other towers not all of them stand out either, so I guess it fits well. As for the height, it is as high as the other towers.

You have really mastered LDD, Yooha, at least the last time I tried it (about two years ago ) it didn't turn out very nicely. I especially like the pic with all the wall segments together.
