This is a bridge I originally made for a customer of my local Lego store. The customer saw the bridge in an idea book and asked the owner if he could get parts for the bridge. The owner then asked me if I wanted to bulid it. The bridge in the idea book didn't go up or down so I also had to add sloping. Unfortunatly the customer didn't want it anymore before seeing the result and even before I could finish it. :cry_sad::hmpf_bad: Now it's still on display in the store.

I used 2100+ bricks for this bridge.

The original from the idea book:

Bad quality. I know... I also know the whole bridge isn't visible but I made this picture for other purpose. I couldn't take a new picture because don't have the book anymore. I only had it when I made the bridge and returned it to the store when I finished it.

The finished version:

The car doen't belong to the bridge but it was an easy oportunity to show it.

Really like the way you used the chains and how they look here.

AWESOME bridge 'Trance89', the chain usage is great and looks quite realistic......which ideas book did you take inspiration from ? :classic:

Brick On 'Trance89' ! :sweet:

Excellent bridge Trance89. It looks very solid. Too bad that guy didn't take it, I'd sure love to have it :classic:

Wow that's stunning. Beautiful build, I agree with the above, the chain is a wonderful touch. Whoever turned down having it should be kicking themselves now!!!!

Thanks! I really like the chains myself.

Thanks! The bridge comes from 'The Lego ideas book' by 'Daniel Lipkowitz.' The book has some quite interesting builds in it including MOCs made by other Lego fans.

Thanks! Actually it wasn't a guy but a woman. She wanted the bridge for her grand child.

Great work   Very well detailed

I'm familiar with the book and the model of the bridge. Your moded version is also well done, I like the sloped part of the road.

Cool! I'm surprised I don't see this technique used more often. It looks so nice!

I really like this bridge. The detailing looks exquisite and I love the sloped effect of the street. The car is a nice addition too!

So did someone pay for the pieces to build this and then just decided they didn't want it? Or did the store eat the cost (for whatever reason) and is now sitting on this wonderful build?

Keep up the good work.

Very nice! But I think that foot-bridge variant will be better.
