Artifex Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Wow, very nice! It looks so real! The leaves are a great touch. Quote
odidoma Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 great moc, alot of details and nice technic in the tower. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 That looks amazing. The new olive green leaves are used brilliantly here. I love the new colors LEGO is coming out with. The tower itself looks great. I love the texturing of the sides. The woodwork is well placed as well. And the trees are a neat design from the norm. Keep up the great work! I will check back often. kabel Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 hey there, really great tower, almos dc like! which I mean as a compliment not a criticism! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Incredible tower The SNOT wall design works really well The olive green trees fit the scene perfectly too Quote
Legopast Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Love this tower , Really like the little touches such as the door hinges, handle. The curved trees as mentioned already really suit this moc and give it a washed out realistic look. Great stone work the uneven look really works well! Keep bricking! ~Liam Quote
Leewan Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Saw it on flickr, awesome MOC, Brick Vader ! Good work on the trees and the rocks (and on everything else, but I especially like the rocks). Quote
KristofBD Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Brilliant work! Love the tower, the colour scheme and the smart use of the bricks. Keep on doing the good job! Quote
Zaeley Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I love the way you have done the boards on the roof! Actually looks like the timber is falling away. Quote
Infernum Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 (edited) Wow! Great color palette! I love the waterfall! The tower looks great! I love the fig too! I also love the border and the rockwork around the tower is great too! Edited May 21, 2013 by Infernum Quote
Bighappysmiles Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Whoa! I love it! I really like how you did the roof of the tower! The olive leaves look good and really add to the dead and broken feeling of the moc Quote
ZCerberus Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Good work. Excellent photgraphy, though the white flag up top is a bit washed out. This MOC is very Derfel-esque, were you inspired by some of his recent builds? Quote
pif500 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Nice moc, very detailled. This tower looks very old and abandonned. I especially love the rocks on the tower and the waterfall. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I really love the river and little bridge. Quote
Gideon Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Fantastic stonework in that tower (I don't know if I've ever seen so few gaps in a round shape of that size), and the color palette is very well balanced! Quote
LegoDrake Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Amazing moc! How did you tile the tower without creating gaps ? Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Very nice MOC The mix of colors works really good and help setting up the atmosphere. I think we'll see the olive leafs quite often Quote
Alcarin Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Man... Now thats SET materials... I would gladly pay 100€ (130$) for a set like this even with only 1 minifigure Wish youd count how many pieces are inside that AND the whole instructions for the build :P really amazing applause for you Brick Vader! Quote
kibosh Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Agreed. The olive leaves really make this MOC for me. And I love the debris at the foot of the waterfall. Well done. Quote
