I don't think it will be Trebor but it would be great to get him. It's Trebor would require a new Mold. I really think that its a Jango Fett fig. It fits with EP II and could have a chrome Helmet and blasters.

I just looked up Coleman Trebor because I was confused by the previous post (I thought he was human), and he is AWESOME! The heads like the dinosaur named parasoralophus. (I'm not sure if I'm spelling that correctly)

Agreed. Trebor has been a character I've liked since Episode II came out, even though he was just one of those bit pieces, but he's an unlikely fig.

I can't understand the hate for the Sail Barge. Go look at some movie imagery, folks - the front end of this one is much more accurate!

I'm a little late to the sail barge party, but I agree; the front end of the studio model is much longer and shallower than the front end of 6210, which I have and love. If you count studs, the central section of the new sail barge is about 16 studs long - roughly the same as in 6210. Also note that the two sails are of very different sizes in the prelim photograph. I suspect the issue here is the massive foreshortening caused by a terrible photograph, rather than a terrible prototype.

Looking back these past 2 years there's a serious lack of battle droids in sets. I hope next summer we can get some battle droids and stormtroopers.

How so? We got the Battle of Naboo set in 2011 that had eight Battle Droids and two Pilot Droids and there is also the recently clearanced Naboo Starfighter that comes with two Security Droids.

Same here, while the "endgame"/mmo-part of SWToR was really bad, the Story and Visual Design was top notch in my opinion.

I hope they make it a 700+pieces, or just generally matching the sith fury interceptor in terms of detail.

Well I already got the OG barge so a new one doesn't exactly rock me the way it would to some. Some interesting arguments regarding the preliminary pictures, my 2c is sometimes its good to have a lego model thats looks good as well as faithful to whatever it is representing

From what I can see the new front of the barge looks whack, just looks like a ramp and theres mixed slopeys with flats has no consistency to the look of it. For lego to have this much time to work on a new version they really need a slap on the hand if they are going to give us a set that is a step back from the 6210 barge. Other than wanting more parts to build a super barge i don't see myself getting this set and bricklinking the new figures.

You're right. But I'm still crossing my fingers for him in one of the summer sets!

Well the 60009 Helecopter Arrest is also listed as a MDP set and that is a Store Exclusive set, so I would guess it is some kind of retail Exclusive for the Star Wars line. It could be a 3 in 1 Super pack maybe.

Jamesn, I came to the same conclusion as you did. My gut tells me that the new sail barge will be at least as good as well as popular compared to 6210.

Thats because there has been loads of them in sets previously. And if they are focusing on Ep2, then they don't really need to be releasing stormtroopers just yet... As it is, there is still the option to get hold of one as per the Endor BP, even though it is just 1...

Well, on the list I see six items labeled 'Star Wars', with a March 2013 release date, which I assume those are the planet sets. More interesting is that we have confirmation on the second wave of Superheroes sets, but that belongs in another topic.

I was thinking about this as well, taking into consideration that the new barge has way more bigger sails than the 6210. But sadly the Republic Gunship's wings are not victims of bad photography, they look really short. About 6 stud shorter than the 7676 and as I couldn't buy it I was really over the moon when I heard that they release a new RG.

We have had comfirmation of Superheroes sets for a very long time.....

Someone said that there is going to be 30 Star Wars sets this year and 25 have been announced and 5 have not but 3 of them are apparently going to be planet sets and 1 will be a collectables set like the b-wing which leaves 1 normal set that is yet to be announced so hopefully it will be jango fetts slave 1 or the naboo royal starship. Let me know what you think guys ?
