Corporate Alliance Tank, Yoda´s and Dooku´s set and Homing Spider Droid will certainly be mine... I´ll maybe buy Mandalorian Speeder, but I haven´t decided yet: AT-TE or Republic Gunship or Jabba´s sail barge...

I am very impressed about minifigures, some new Jedies and new Yoda... I think, that Lego´ve done great job. But I can´t make an full opinion just from pictures....

--- 51st post and start of 51st page--- Nice combination isn´t it'

I can't wait to get my hands on the new AOTC sets. Sure a lot of the CW stuff is based of it but its just not the same. The new figures look very impressive, but a few disappoint me. Obi Wan should have been given a new head or even just new expressions. The Second is Mace Windu, first off I'm disappointed that he's been reused. I've already got him from Palpatines arrest. Second it's the same Face/ Expression and I'm not to keen on the whole white legs. I would have much rather they included Ki Adi Mundi or Aayla. The last fig that I'm disappointed with is Santa Jango. While the torso looks good I feel that the helmet ruins him. I think a red helmet with white print would look better, and more Christmas like.

Apart from that I may have to pick up the majority of these sets, and just bricklink Jango.

All three of those sets have Jedi in them...surely you're not going to build an army of Ahsokas or Pong Krells?

Maybe we can send him our adresses so he can send us an Ahsoka or Pong Krell just for being brothers in bricks ;-)

I must say that the sets look great. A good year for minifigure collectors. (Like me) The Gunship just doesn't do it for me, guess I'll have to MOC a decent one, I will be getting the figures though. And it's great to see Poggle.

I too am hoping we get a clone lieutenant at some point here real soon and this is just a thought but idk where else to post it so i thought here would be a good idea as it deals with a possible 2013 set could the lieutenant possibly be the May the 4th figure this year?

A Clone Lieutenant is too ordinary for a May the 4th exclusive. A chromed Clone Trooper or Jango Fett would be more likely.

Definately going to pick-up the Corperate Alliance Tank Droid set, and maaaaybe a Spider Driod set as well. (still debating that one...)

I'm also going to grab a Mandelorian Speeder set too!

Thankfully this stuff won't be out for a bit yet, which should give my wallet time to heal-up after my other main hobby ruthlessly roflstomps it into the ground next month! (Lego is cheap compared to Warhammer...)

I have strictly purchased OT LEGO sets since 2004, but it will be very hard for me to resist leaving 75021 Republic Gunship and 75017 Duel On Geonosis on the shelves at my local LEGO store. I have always had a soft spot for the RGS, so when the 2008 version came out, I was disappointed since it was the CW version. I don't see me passing up the 2013 version. The minifigures are well done (Anakin is the weakest in terms of likeness to Hayden; Obi-Wan and Padme mirror Ewan and Natalie closer in likeness, respectively). Of course I'll have to get another clone pilot and some clone gunners to properly man the RGS.

The main thing that draws me to the Geonosis duel is Count Dooku. LEGO did a remarkable job making Dooku look like Christopher Lee. Yoda is also a winner. Plus, with the minifigures in the RGS, it seems like you can't have 75021 without 75017, so what the heck, I'm all in on these two sets, even though AOTC was my least favorite film of the PT.

With that said, I was initially Gung Ho on getting 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge. Upon further review, the new version is unfortunately smaller than its predecessor. I can live with a shorter length (7 studs by my count), but a width of 8 studs is unacceptable (the 2006 version has a width of 10 studs). It's hard to understand why LEGO would make this set smaller. The minifigures are well done, but it would be difficult for me to purchase a $120.00 set just for the minifigures. I already own the new desert skiff and Jabba's palace and I plan on getting the Rancor pit, so it would make sense in a way to make the purchase to complete the quartet of Jabba ROTJ sets. I'll have to reserve making a final decision until the reviews of 75020 start rolling in after August.

Have to agree, a Clone Lieutenant is too plain. The past few years, May the 4th has brought us unique minifigs that you just can't Bricklink the parts to. I'm getting a little anxious now that May the 4th is being mentioned.

Personally I think that the May the Fourth fig might be either Episode II C3po, or a chromed R2-D2. I wouldn't mind a chrome Clone trooper or a fig with alternate colours, but I prefer Figs that can fit nicely into a scene with "normal figures".

I agree; I wasn't originally planning on getting Duel on Geonosis because 1) it was £40 and 2) I thought the 'figs would be CW style. But Dooku and Yoda really captured it for me. I probably won't pick up the Gunship but I might bricklink Anakin and then customise him.

I have only problem with 75018. Who is R4-G0? Great line up of 2013 Lego star wars sets. Can't wait for the winter wave

I am sure that this set (75 018) to treat The Yoda Chronicles.

The model is really very well designed. There are some improvements on the details, and less stickers (the windscreen is not printed, though). There are also suspensions for the wings ? Oo

Overall, it is really a minor update compared to 7191, a set that were very well and cleverly designed too.

Major point : it kills the UCS line. How can a model be ultimate and collector if it is re-released ?

I think lego could of gone in a different direction im the UCS by doing a building like the jedi temple. You are right though, it makes the previous one meaningless.
